XLR Gen 1 Carbon + Origin

Having some issues. Put the handguard on and can't get things to line up and seat right. Looks like the rail/scope base hits the handguard and doesn't allow the handguard to seat fully. This cants the handle down, causing it to make contact with the barrel. Am I missing something or is this a no-go situation?

@Zermatt Arms can get you a rail that doesnt extend past the lug

Generally the rail has to be trimmed to length with the XLR chassis or ordered specifically for it like @b6graham said.

Most gunsmiths just cut them to length when assembling everything.

I'd rather just have the extra rail for switching chassis in the future but yeah you technically could trim it if you didnt want to wait

I'll order another rail. I plan on buying another Origin to put in a Bravo or Manners. I'll use this rail for that build. I never even considered looking at Zermatt to see if they offered a different length rail. Thanks y'all.

Dont think it's even listed on their website. But I'd expect some changes to match the rebranding. The RimX site is slick. Those guys did a solid job on it

I didn't see it listed when I looked last night. Action, slope and ejection port side are the only options.

@Zermatt Arms I will likely be in touch. Probably just gonna piss off the wife and order another action. Lol. Hey, my next Origin will have the short rail so I'll be saving money by not buying an extra rail. Right?? Because unfortunately you guys "can't swap rails that have already been mounted". Isn't that the policy?? ?????

I just have one decision to make. Get another action of the same size or venture into territory I have ZERO experience in... LONG actions.
