I had no idea there was a Bataan memorial march. I'm interested in doing that.
A few years back on facebook, some fellow paratroopers were talking about getting together and doing it. They ALMOST had me talked into it....before i came to my senses. I finally told them i’d pull cooler guard while they were out working up a thirst. Never made it down there though...i forgot what it was, but something came up.
On a side note.....Doc Byrd made it down there. And if you have a problem, go see Doc. Whatever it is, he has a cream for it.....lol.
They are shutting bases down for public access. Got notice that graduation ceremonies are cancelled for my son. I guess that saves me a trip to south carolina. And from what i remember from our trips from bragg to myrtle beach.... WINNING!

Yep, I work for NM state gov. Tomorrow I get to send every swinging dick I supervise to work from home. I'll hold down the fort. NM has a long history of dealing with epidemics (we still have the plague). NM is last in everything except for our DOH.
I know the debate between Sanders (communist) and Biden (dickfaced lying ass monkey, who I am 100% sure was in the KKK and a black panthers benefactor at the same time, just to get election votes) is now limited to those two assholes and the press.

Just curious, how do they find people to play the role of the Japs? And are they OK with getting beat mercilessly about the head and shoulders for realism?
If it does thousands of old natives will die. The other place I was thinking about is Apalachia, and large church congregations spreading it. I would imagine if it got into a big population in a 3rd world nation like one of those South African mega-churches it would be pretty rough.
I was in South Africa during the 2005 Johannasburg citywide strike, and thousands of people died. I got out of there before the end of it, but they didn't have the capability to deal with the dead. It was horrific. Kind of like New Orleans during Katrina.
