So a lot of entitlement going on in the USA these days.

The medical experts in charge have made plans to save themselves, first responders and enough le to protect them. So you can bet they will be protected.

The rest of you ordinary scum will get a little pain relief to shut you up and shove you in the hallway to die especially if you are old. Pretty much F you for showing up.

Leftists in controll and protection on the list of the chosen.

They run you through triage, like to vet your credentials and worth to them.

So I will piss off as many as I make happy with the rest of this but you can bet pissy people get taken care of.

Lets say those mentioned will approve and support those decisions, ok.

Now our turn.

Lets do triage at my -

Gas station and since its my gas I decide who gets it. Knowing what certain types value my life at I make them all walk.

My grocery store I own the food and as so decide to do triage to see if you meet my criteria to be allowed to get any.

Well God Damn that Snuby642 basterd.

ALERT:

Please. Please. PLEASE... Do NOT attempt to self-medicate with hydroxychloroquine or chloroquine, either for treatment of an existing COVID-19 infection or as post-exposure prophylaxis. Chloroquine can be lethally toxic above certain dosage amounts and dosage amounts vary from person to person based on a lot of factors. One man is dead and his spouse is in critical condition after overdosing on chloroquine, and several poisonings have also been reported in Nigeria. Please spread this message to as many others as possible. Do NOT self medicate with the quinoline class of drugs unless prescribed with the correct dosage information for YOU specifically from a doctor.

Arizona man fatally poisoned with chloroquine and wife hospitalized while trying to self-medicate.

Quinoline poisonings in Nigeria as a result of overdosing.

Was thinking about this earlier.

The term "chinese virus" and the effectiveness to raise the average citizen's attention to the unhealty reliance on chinese production.

Will it work? Is it working?

That is the goal, yes?

Wow brother, lay off the conspiracy propaganda websites, they’re turning you into part of the problem. Surely you can think of a more positive outcome. We are all dealing with an uncertain and possibly a very uncomfortable future. America may not be the same after this, but that does not mean we need to add our own hate to the pot.

With that said, ill trade ya ammo for fuel? ?

Washington State lockdown order issued this evening by the Governor, which I expected due to dipshits non-compliance with recommendations designed to curb the spread. I believe two weeks hunkering down to start with, except for stores, medical facillities/services deemed essential. Fortunately no cases that I am aware of in my immediate AO. Happy since I have a doctors appointment on Thursday.

Agreed. Putting deaths aside, roughly 20% of the infections are resulting in SOME TYPE of hospitalization according to the early data (subject to change as we get more). Let's just blindly assume that statistic applies to America.

I would like to see/know what the real numbers are. Because this is the important statistical information in the whole deal.
How many people are going to need serious medical attention? How many people are going to have a minor reaction and those that have it and aren't effected at all.

Virus has been in Louisiana since January. It grew quickly because of the ability to test victims.

Louisiana's growth in coronavirus cases grew faster than anywhere else in the world: UL study

I would still agree that "random" is not the correct way to think about it. There is an underlying pattern to uncover.

True, it seems like with many, if not most of the fatal COVID-19 cases that have been covered in the media reports up to now, comorbidities already present in the patient has a significant role in the patient's death. Even if this virus does not strike like a tornado but follows a peculiar set of guidelines yet uncovered by the latest research, I will say that it is damn good at rooting out any serious condition that someone may have and not even know, and then exacerbating it to fatal levels.

It will also be interesting to see if there are any reports published regarding the impact of smoking and vaping, including marijuana and marijuana products, on patients with COVID-19. An awful lot of young folks use electronic cigarettes and marijuana almost obsessively, and even though tobacco smoking has declined in this country over the recent years, e-cig use and power-vaping using high voltage units have greatly increased. I have been hearing reports from surgeons both in Europe and China that vapers and marijuana users are getting their lungs decimated by this thing, and it would not be a surprise. Lungs that have already suffered varying degrees of damage from diacetyl and the constant inhaling of partially burnt organic matter are not in much condition to take on an aggressive respiratory virus like COVID-19. Italy not only has a high population of the elderly, but also a high population of heavy smokers, and that is one of the contributing factors to their overwhelming fatality rate so far...

I wonder if WA, NY State, LA, and other hard hit areas already had patients dying from mysterious respiratory or cardiac failures over the course of this winter especially following a flu-like illness but never tested positive for flu A or B. It would be quite interesting to sift through all of the death certificates for in-hospital deaths in these regions from November 2019- onwards to the present. I bet this will provide a solid answer to whether this virus had already been here all along or not...

I am quoting data from CCDC based on early infections in both China and Italy (best we got so far). The data set is updated every 3-4 days so I am expecting some early data from the United States by the end of this week.

But in short, if we ASSUME the data in China and Italy is accurate, and it will extrapolate to the U.S.., we would then expect 20% of those infected to have SOME TYPE of hospital intervention (admitted for observation, admitted for treatment, or critical ICU services are needed).

The remaining 80% would then assume to exhibit basic flu like symptoms.

Interesting article on COVID 19 and blood type:

Taking the data as a whole, the researchers concluded that "blood group A had a significantly higher risk for COVID-19" when compared with non-A blood groups. Those in the O group, meanwhile, "had a significantly lower risk for the infectious disease."

The problem with "comorbidities" is that damn near everyone in the US has at least one. High blood pressure is a comorbidity. Obesity is another. Asthma is another. Combine those with some sort of smoking/vaping, and suddenly we're talking huge swaths of the population.

I'm in my mid-40s and frequently exercise (8-10 hours/wk), but I have mild asthma and sinus issues. If I catch this stuff and kick the bucket, can we write that off because I have "underlying issues"?

I'd love to think that one possible positive outcome of this situation would be the general acknowledgement that good overall health (including mental health) is kinda important when facing unknown threats.

Im just waking up, but from their data it looks like AB would be lower risk than O. But I see what the article says. I will look into it more in a little while.

That is exactly what Dr. Deborah Birx is working on. She explained that during the Monday evening briefing.... She has a lot of data to compile. I think long after this has passed she will be making some interesting discoveries.

Yeah!

Boston has hired Stanley McChrystal to oversea the Covid-19 response.

Guessing he will require suspension of COTUS, forced confiscation of firearms and quartering of soldiers in private residences.

Exactly what expertise would he bring to the table beyond jack boot?

Other mil guys might prove effective with logistics but thats not this guys MO.

Fortunately Trump walked his "opened days" remarks about reopening America, but the damage was done already. He needs to pay attention to the real experts and stop making misleading and potentially deadly remarks about, "Hey, everyone, we are all going back to work in days now!"

Stupid.

The virus is really just getting going across the USA and will get much worse before we begin to see it waning. That's why we need to keep everything shut down as much as possible.

Bottom line, after this shit ends, we will see an even lower level of trust in the Congress, media and government. Many new gun owners. Many new preppers (even if it starts with toilet paper). Many awakened of the over-dependence of China.

Trump's right and will be proven so.

I liked him before I found out what a useless, PC, Democrat, moron fuck he is. Total disappointment much like McRaven and his support of the anti-American, communist, traitor, fuck Brennan.

Fired for criticizing the communist messiah yet a total communist.

Guessing he is a beneficiary of the "emergency funding".

Stanley gets a show up job in Boston for high six figures in return for a fat donation to the communist effort in some fraction of those six figures.

Trump's a moron and has been proven so, multiple times. Here's hoping Pence and his team of genuinely expert, experienced medical professionals are able to get through to him.

Thinking anyone in public office is "experienced", "professional", "expert" is part of the problem.

To reach their levels they have sold their professional skills for purely political weasel survival skills.

As an outsider Trump is the best thing to actually kick these people in the ass with his private sector wingtip and maybe actually get something done.

I want Trump pushing for the "hard to do".

Otherwise the default govt setting is to "do what gets done in time".

" Thinking anyone in public office is "experienced", "professional", "expert" is part of the problem."

That is simply an idiotic statement.

Dr. Anthony Fauci is the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases and has served SIX administrations with his expertise. He is not an elected official who is a puffed up wind-bag like Trump and the rest of the politicos who are using this situation to score political points.

Dr Fauci is a fawning Hillary Clinton groupie probably upset her God intended turn at the helm was taken by this usurper.

He was probably working with her on her myriad medical issues intending to make her a General Grievous like being.

She probably sent Fauci pictures of herself in Epsteins cell letting him know there are things WAY more deadly than CV-19.

Epstein did not kill his self.......

If Fauci has an issue with Trump its his ethical requirement to step down.

He can either get on board with the admin agenda and fully support it or he can leave.

Mattis, Kelly, McMaster, Wray, Sessions....none had the balls to say "I am morally and ethically against so therefore must resign".

That would have been the honest, pure, convincing tactic to convince me something is wrong with the administration.

Staying inside with the intent to "subvert" only convinces me the Deep State is fighting for its life and Trump is on a good path.

Trump isnt advocating that Monday we are back to business so take a sip of your morning coffee and relax.

He is sanely saying that this isnt going to shut the entire country down.

We have to function.

We have to go on with life.

Surrender is not a strategy.

If in two weeks it looks like things are under control than the economy needs to open up.

Perhaps put it in low gear.

Testing shows a certain number of people have antigen titers (that test is apparently coming available) because this thing has been around since November let them get back to work and start priming the machine.

Maybe the lock down restrictions get put on the "at risk" population.

Currently the "at risk" crowd also suffers from loss of services just like the rest of us.

How about we get some services operational again and shit like delivering meals to elderly/immuno compromised can take place and allow them to be comfortable in their temp isolation.

For you though, I recommend a good 18 months of staying in your house.

Your unrestrained fears concern me should you be out in rational society.

Careful with your coffee, its hot, dont burn yourself. Your Glock will keep you safe though, unless your Snipers Hide Hoody string gets caught in the trigger and you shoot yourself in the ass, even worse if you appendix carry, small target though, you will be okay.

It would be a lot easier to "get back to normal" if we would have gotten a handle on this thing just a few weeks earlier. Locking down all international travel would have reduced the number of early cases; then the application of solid testing would have allowed us to detect those early cases and put a localized "hard" lock-down in place by region. This is generally how S. Korea and Japan managed to keep a lid on things.

But we didn't lock down international travel. We didn't have testing capacity in place, and early attempts to form alternative testing methods were stonewalled. We didn't try to collect data in an intelligent manner that would have allowed us to lock down smaller regions. And if we had trying to put up an iron curtain around, say, Seattle, then the legal challenges would have been formidable.

And so now we've got widespread community transmission, and we will suffer the consequences. We can't just wish this thing away, but that's the attitude I saw on display during last evening's press conference.

Please note that none of the above is blaming one party or the other or any specific individual. We can take any public official to task according to our biases, but none of that changes the facts.

Continue lock down of the cities til they improve. The rural areas can go back to work and fight spread with aggressive testing and contact tracing.

You think so?

You think so?

A false positive that results in isolation of the tested isn't going to result in more spread.

US testing is reportedly being held to our own standard. Maybe it will be better over time?

The government is full of "experts" just like Centuriator is in expert in long range shooting and all things guns.

Sometimes when I'm reading his posts I feel like I'm at the public range and the guy next to me insists on talking to me and giving me advice during the cease fires whether I want it or not.

When your opinions are exactly the same as those espoused on NBC, CNN, MSNBC, and the various media arms of the Democrat Party I would seriously consider reexamine my opinions. It's so fucking moronic and tedious on TV, you would think we would be spared in here..., but no. These are the people who are 100% more concerned over what's said over what is actually done. They are unserious children.

I wonder if he was also out of his mind over Trump's "racist" name calling, The Chinese Virus? His fucking head must have exploded.

Honestly inteiigence and military leadership flunked wholesale on Covid19 no mater the trillion dolar budget and inteligence budgets larger than most countries defence budgets. Could we have gotten an earlier response?

When Trump started shutting shit down - stopping China travel for instance - the media had been covering CV-19 for only a week or two.

As it was Trump was slammed by the media.

Perhaps our intel sources were getting a whiff of something other than the Chinese wet markets in November......

Remember November, December, early to mid January? Heady times.

Had Trump started shutting shit down than there would have been a shit show or he would have actually put in peril those "sources and methods" I always hear we must protect.

Id say he has been as proactive as he could be both politically and from a practical stand.

Unfortunately the friction is a result of neither party representing the good of the country but only their selfish desires for their parties power.

We pay the price.

Trump being a member of neither party at least injects some sanity to their fight even if his manner of doing so is somewhat insane.

Agree and disagree.

McCrystal will do nothing for Boston, other than name recognition, that some low level Amazon operations manager could do better.

Now when it comes to military logistics though I want, and think its strategically necessary, to have a supply sergeant.

Military logistics needs people subject to military command.

As was learned in WWI, WWII, Korea and VN, stateside where the civilian private sector logistics feeds material into the overseas pipeline to support the deployed troops they have few qualms of threatening to choke off the fighters in order to get their gain.

We shouldnt compund the problem by continuing that vulnerability in theatre.

When it comes to people in the combat zone representing me I want them in uniform.

Civilians become a liability and take the focus off war strategy.

Man the supply line with guys that have guns and have taken an oath to follow lawful orders.

WWII contractors on Wake became both a liability and a tragedy.

Black Water and their ilk are nothing but a means for the government to fuck up and maitain plausible deniability.

War is for uniformed war fighters even if they are just driving a truck of supplies.

Further....

You are correct regards legislative consequences but your comment regards Lindsay implanting something in me is chilling.
