Im just waking up, but from their data it looks like AB would be lower risk than O. But I see what the article says. I will look into it more in a little while.

From the article it seems the data shows AB to be lower

Might need to look at this-

The Nazis in Kentucky have established an turn-in-your-neighbor hotline.

Dude "See Something, Say Something" has already turned us in to a nation of tattle tales.

Just near the US Embassy in Moscow is a statue honoring this kid....

Well there was such a statue in CCCP times.

When I found out why he was honored I was horrified.

At the time I thought it was one of those things that starkly displayed the differences between the great USA and our Communist enemy.

Sadly Im seeing in the Great USA today more things that remind me of the CCCP.

I guess I was reading it wrong as stated here-

You're reading it incorrectly. Of the normal people, 32.16% have Type A. Of the COVID-19 patients 37.75% are Type A that's +17.4% (5.59/32.16) more than it should be by blood type. Type O made up 33.84% normal pop. but only 25.80% of the patients a -23.8% drop.

So Im going to die now? :(

Continue lock down of the cities til they improve. The rural areas can go back to work and fight spread with aggressive testing and contact tracing.

That is all well and good for middle America and agriculture but that isn't going to get the economy moving anywhere.
The majority of the economy is made on the coasts. High tech, finance and banking, ports of entry where goods come and go are all not he coast.

If we can't figure out a solution to getting the coasts on line, we are fucked

I think we need to get back to work in the next couple weeks, take a bite of the shit sandwich. The mortality rate of those tested is down to 1.2%

As of now, 593 deaths divided by 46,485 diagnosed = 0.012 = 1.2%

Worldwide deaths of this thing is 17,241 as of this posting.

The annual influenza just in the US has smoked between 23,000 and 59,000 from October 1, 2019 to now.... and by the way, the mass majority of those were the same at-risk population as the COVID goes after.... nary a peep about all those deaths. Why? Because, It's generally accepted those populations will eat it when they get sick. It's a tough pill to swallow to think that way. I've been in either the emergency medical or law enforcement field for about half my life. I tend to have a different view on life because I've seen alotta sickness and death (both natural and unnatural).

LEGOWA (Let's Get On Working Already).

People die every minute of every day from all kinds of things and it doesn't cause a mass crippling of our economy. We can't throw away our way of life for 99 percent of the country that will be just fine and dandy just to save 1/10th of 1 percent that could be saved.

fucking cuomo whining about ventilators.
he was told in 2015 that he should get 15k for this kind of emergency.
he chose to to ignore that advice.
now he is blaming everyone else.
Cuomo: "Where are the masks? Where ahhhhhh theyyyy??"

Me: "Behind you on display, dickhead."

Yep. I figured I must have looked at it wrong.

Trump isnt advocating that Monday we are back to business so take a sip of your morning coffee and relax.

Get your facts straight.

I watch every press conference Trump holds, beginning to end. I do not like to really on media to get it right. Yesterday he very explicitly said, at the beginning, "We are re-oopening America very soon, days, not months." He sent out, as per the usual, confusing and conflicting signals and made statements that were simply idiotic, comparing deaths from the virus to auto accidents and flu" Fortunately the one doctor with was able, very artfully, to correct him by saying, "In this country we are well prepared to handle the Flu but we were not expecting this virus which is 3 times as contagious, for which there is no vaccine, and no therapeutic drugs at this point. He retweets his idiot daughter's tweet with a line through the 15, replaced with an 8.

You can say all the smart-alek, cute comments you want. It just shows me you realize you have no idea what you are talking about all you can do is resort to stupid personal remarks.

Facts are facts. You just have to listen, pay attention, and take those Trump-colored glasses off.

Hopefully he will listen to his team of experts and stop saying idiotic, stupid and irresponsible things.

Yeah!

Boston has hired Stanley McChrystal to oversea the Covid-19 response.

Guessing he will require suspension of COTUS, forced confiscation of firearms and quartering of soldiers in private residences.

Exactly what expertise would he bring to the table beyond jack boot?

Other mil guys might prove effective with logistics but thats not this guys MO.

Stanley McChrystal was fired by former President Oboma for his unflattering remarks about then VP Joe Biden. That makes him a good man in my book!

Misleading, to say the least. Things are just now ramping up in our country, as compared other countries where things have been in full swing. 10% death rate in Italy. 7% in Spain. 4% in France, etc. etc. etc.

It is far, far too early to start saying, "Hey, let's all get back to work in a week!"

Just stupid talk.

It's not misleading. It's where we are at right now. We cant keep everything shut down for months.

Yes, it is "where we are at" ... but it is idiotic to make assertions based on our current state...things are warming up here and will get far worse before it gets better. That's the fact. That's what Trump and his fawning syncophants can't get through their heads.

Just chuckling... Amid all the panic the folks who deliver our packages are still just plugging alone. Yes, the one's we complain about, frequently... USPS, UPS, FedEx and the list goes on. I'm still getting Amazon, prescription meds, seeds for my garden, coffee from Louisiana (Community) and just about anything else I can afford... business as usual for some. I thank each one every time a package is dropped off.

What could get worse? More cases discovered? More death? Of course.

As an aside, Italy and the Euros are where they are because they refused to do any form if travel ban, and their virtue signaling for being "not racist" caused things like the Mayor of Florence to declare "hug a Chinese day"

Similar concept in New York and San Francisco

Even after the Jan 31 China travel restrictions were put kn place by President Trump, all the Dems went "that's xenophobic or racist" and continued living in the land of unicorns and rainbows.

Notice a general trend?

People need to spend some time actually listening to real experts. Hear what they are saying. Try to understand it. Facts are stubborn things. The virus in this country is just getting ramped up. Facts. They work.

Yes, if we abandon containment measures then the healthcare system will be overrun and the death rate will go up to 5-10%, we will probably have at least 10 million dead in that scenario. I don't think the economy will thrive at that point.

It's incredible to me that we can look at the disasters of Wuhan and Lombardy and basically say "hold my beer, we can top that" but that seems to be what many including Trump are advocating.

Indeed...the virus is spreading at an exponential rate. And it is only going to get worse. The idiot Democrats in the Senate are delaying a massive relief bill to try to pass "green" items like jet airliner engine carbon emissions, and funding for the Kennedy Center in DC. The Democrats are using this as a smoke screen for their radical agenda.

And, then the Spray-Tanned-One in Chief in the White House comes out last spouting off that we should reopen the country in a matter of "days" ... he walked it back a bit by the end of the presser, but ... the doubles down by retweet his nit-wit daughter Tiffany's stupid picture showing the 15 scratched out and replaced with 8. Can't anyone take Trump's cell phone away?

I hope Americans shut in at home are watching CSPAN and listening to what people are actually saying, not relying on media.

And meanwhile on this forum we have the children screeching, "You are a liberal!" to anyone who dares talk about facts and points out that the Emperors at the highest level of government are wearing no clothes.

Here's hoping Pence and his team of genuinely expert, experienced medical professionals are able to get through to him.

Man Pence is impressing on TV today....

Where does the superior intelligence come from to choose him as VP, than assemble the Corona Team to fight this Pandemic?

Sometimes genius is in being able to delegate authority and put in place those that can handle the problem......

Pretty sure the Dems and Rinos had no say in this.....

I'm not doubting the severity of this whole mess per se, but i would like to see actual uncut footage of a New York or CA hospital with overflowing ER and ICU. I'm tired of talking heads. Show me drama, stop telling me about it. Makes me (more) doubtful..

As usual, Ben Sasse nails it:

Senator Ben Sasse (R., Neb.) took aim at House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D., Calif.) for hijacking Senate negotiations over a phase-three economic relief package with an “ideologically-driven wish list” of Democratic policies unrelated to coronavirus.

Pelosi’s 1,404 page bill, introduced Monday after the House Speaker returned to Washington D.C. on Sunday, includes numerous provisions that Sasse labeled “a ton of crap that has absolutely nothing to do with the public health emergency that we face at this moment.”

“Instead of taking that legislation — urgent, necessary legislation — and passing it quickly, Democrats have now decided to allow Speaker Pelosi to block it through proxies here in the Senate so that she can rewrite the bill with a ton of crap that has absolutely nothing to do with the public health emergency that we face at this moment,” Sasse stated in a speech on the Senate floor Monday night.

Republicans have accused Pelosi of ruining days of productive negotiations in the Senate over the trillion-dollar package that Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R., Ky.) introduced last week, after Majority Whip James Clyburn (D., S.C.) told House Democrats last week that the bill was “a tremendous opportunity to restructure things to fit our vision.”

On Monday, McConnell stated that “Democrats won’t let us fund hospitals or save small businesses unless they get to dust off the green New Deal,” while Senator Tom Cotton (R., Ark.) called the tactics “disgraceful” and “dangerous to the lives of our people and their economic well-being.”

In making the case that Democrats are more concerned about unrelated legislative priorities than the health of the economy, Sasse pointed to Pelosi’s “liberal wish list,” which includes mandatory diversity reports on corporate boards, requiring same-day voter registration in all 50 states, a bailout of the U.S. Postal Service, establishing a $15-an-hour minimum wage, and new environmental regulations for airlines.

“We’ve got families that are suffering,” Sasse said. “We’ve got small businesses that are closing literally by the hour. We have doctors fighting to prevent their hospitals from being overwhelmed. And what does Speaker Pelosi try to do? She’s trying to take hostages about her dream legislation, all sorts of dream legislative provisions that have nothing to do with this moment and say the American public can’t get access to the public health piece of legislation or the economic relief pieces of legislation unless she gets hostages that are entirely unrelated to this moment.”

Sasse slammed Pelosi for trying to smuggle pro-choice funding into the House’s phase-two coronavirus stimulus package earlier this month. “We need to be ramping up our diagnostic testing, not waging culture wars at the behest of Planned Parenthood. Good grief,” Sasse said at the time.

So President Trump is a idiot for not getting on TV and screaming we are all going to die, it's going to take months maybe years to recover we are all screwed? Calm down man, it's going to be just fine. I see a guy fighting both sides of the isle delegating authority, staying calm and working through the problem. If you hate Trump this bad you should read up on a guy named Patton, wow you will really despise that guy and how he talked and handled his job.

The sheer scope of cultlike "hero" worship and cults of personality that hardline Communist countries have went to during their time periods is downright unnerving and is probably unable to be comprehended by anyone who did not grow up in those countries. My granduncle's ranch in northern China is located close enough to the North Korean border that North Korean radio and television signals can be picked up by us on a normal basis. One of the movies which I had remembered the most about and had English subtitles as well was titled The Marathon Runner. About a star athlete whose family was suffering through one of the great famines. One of the scenes showed the father of the hungry and desperate family trying to console the rest of the household, stating that the "Eternal Comrade" will bring them deliverance. He then turns the family to all look at the portrait of Kim Jong Il that was on a wall shelf. Almost immediately, a ray of golden sunlight coming from nowhere illuminated the room that they were in and a piece of "inspirational" music began to play as the family seemed to forget their troubles and began smiling into the direction of the light, which was now obviously emanating from the portrait... No, I am not kidding anybody at all... That is the kind of fuckery that comes out of that place on a 24/7 basis.

The problem with your reasoning is you actually think the people at the highest levels are dumb, they’re not. They’re highly intelligent. The spokespeople for these policies might be dumb as posts, but the designers of those policies aren’t. This makes you blind to the real intentions behind some of these policies. You honestly think the economic effect of shutting the country down for three to six months is unknown to the advisors from Goldman-Sachs? You’re taking decisions as advertised, buying into the marketing. An example: CSPAN = experts?!? LOL Those guys are bought cheap. There’s probably a couple hundred experts that could explain why the cameras were off in Epstein’s cell. Give me a break.

For TDS people here. Trump acted on bad info. https://abc3340.com/news/nation-wor...eaders-lied-to-trump-over-coronavirus-testing
“From my conversations with members of the task force, both inside and outside the administration,” Meekins told Sinclair in an exclusive interview, “The U.S. government, from Secretary Azar to the president relied on the Centers for Disease Control to produce a test; they failed....CDC said they would handle it....What we have found out is that these leaders at the CDC lied to both the HHS secretary and, by extension, the president. And as a result the nation got weeks behind.”

The sheer scope of cultlike "hero" worship and cults of personality that hardline Communist countries have went to during their time periods is downright unnerving and is probably unable to be comprehended by anyone who did not grow up in those countries.

But we see the same behaviors from the Trump-worshippers around here. Any criticism is met with howls of unhinged, irrational remarks.

About the dr Fauci, who some think it's an impartial professional:

Yup, that proves it. Fauci is a political hack who has no idea what he is talking about. You convinced me.

In times like these, you can always count on gun forums and "theconservativetreehouse.com" to keep us informed and aware with factual reporting. LOL. :)

I sit and watch county by county enact thier lockdowns and then cry to Governor Abbott to shut all of Texas.

That would absolve them of any downside of thier decisions.

There will be rural holdouts all over and if state wide will not enforce.

I totally get the independent thinking.

It is still a free country.

My take from all this: keynesianism is dead, central banks trapped in their mistakes and they know it. They waited for the scapegoat, like Patriot Act waited for 9/11 to be implemented. They NEED to make it a big deal, even if more people die from influenza every year.
They will move all of us to crypto-currencies run by the central banks, and when they impose a negative 10% interest you can't do anything. As a bonus, they will know every firearm and every bullet you buy.

If Pence was not on board with the administrations agenda than Id lose respect for him in not offering his resignation.

The military is supposed to be held to that standard as our kids lives are at stake when policy is not in the best interest of the country.

Either those around Trump agree with him or they are spineless, hack, weasels that care only for career and nothing for the country.

Guess that could go either way.

Im not insinuating that those around Trump have to agree with all his ideas but when the policy is put in motion they at that point have to be 100 percent on board or have already offered their resignation.

Trump is being a total freakin' idiot and hopefully he comes to his senses, if not, then he will have to be ignored by public health officials, state, and local government officials who will continue to do all they can to shut things down.

The virus is spreading EXPONENTIALLY. Look that word up if you don't understand what it means. Look at this chart. It is NOT slowing down it is skyrocketing up and there is no end in sight...exponentially. Look at the day to day increases. It is accelerating.

Trump's idiotic claims that the nation should be open by Easter may well result in needless hundreds of thousands of deaths.

I know we have hardcore Trump worshipers around here who can't think for themselves. Sad.
