If it’s what you want, maybe. I’d take it all off down to a bare action though which you can order for the same price without waiting on a rebate that may not actually even work.

$325 seems like a decent deal to me for a starter 6.5CM w/ threaded bbl, but haven't looked at them. Was just going to pass along to a young friend that had expressed some interest in getting a cheap 6.5CM.

I checked against Remingtons rebate site. It’s valid. But feel free to check if you’re purchasing!

That would be a great rifle to put in a KRG Bravo if you like to tinker. Add a trigger and muzzle brake and go shoot. It might hold 3/4 Moa if your lucky. If not you can tinker some more and do a barrel. Or just buy a Tikka T3x ctr and be done with it.

At the end of buying this rifle to get it to shoot as good as a a tikka or something its equally u will strip everything of it and rebuild it .so just start off with the action and be done

I agree. I didn’t buy one. I’ve got a Tikka that serves my needs. Just thought it was a good deal for someone on a budget!

If somebody is truly on a budget and wants to shoot more than once a month a 22lr or a 223 rem would be a great choice.

Ok if someone is on that tight of a budget agreed it should work. It just seems everyone that heads down this Remington road regrets it. me included

It's a good buy. You likely wont find an action alone for that price. Shoot the hell out of it while collecting upgrades. No brainer if one is had.
