But one of my favorite cans...

Remember Stite in the small cans?
Nope . Doesn't ring a bell . Drank Buck horn that was a Wisconsin beer . Use to buy it on Sunday road trip across the border to Wis .
Back in the day .
Until a few years ago Minnesota liquor stores were closed on Sundays.
Still drink Grain Belt premium once in awhile .
Pfeiffer was 2 or 3 cases for $9.99 at Minnihaha liquor store . Way back in my youth .

I grew up in Wisconsin, drinkng Hamms, Olympia and the ones I mentioned. They were all staples, dependent on budget and availability. Old Style was a brand from the Heilimen Brewing Co, La Crosse, WI
I'm from Stevens point, and remember all those. Got a picture of me and 2 buddies from Wisconsin chugging some blue bullets over in Okinawa. ( Point beers. ) My folks sent me a 12 pack through the mail. Nothing like a taste of home when you haven't been there in a while.

Best beer I know, and as a German native I know some of them and do have genes of generations of beerdrinking anchestors in me.

There are some more over here in Germany of course, but this one is my favourite (after 40years of experience).
Sorry folks, I´ve tasted some American yellow waters, but none of them would have earned the designation "beer".

:p

Aah, good old Red, White & Blue. Always a dilemma when you only had $2 in your pocket back in the '70's. A six-pack of Bud or a case of Red, White & Blue...? "Toss me another RWB will ya"
We used to drink that in college when we have nothing else. But you know what one of the best beers ever was a red white and blue. Got back from spring break and cafeterias weren’t open. Had just enough money on hand for two pizza rolls and a six of red white and blue. And my buddy Bull and I drank them so ice cold that we couldn’t taste them. But with pepperoni pizza rolls they were awesome. Still remember it was Josie’s pizza Potsdam New York

Looking at the pictures of the beer can collection got me all misty.... Point beer.. they still make it? Haven't seen it since I left Titletown (Green Bay).

I got busted by my mom in high school. Red white and blue had a $2 or $3 mail in rebate per case. Mom opened my mail and was not happy with me getting a rebate on 3 racks

Funny but true we had a foreign exchange student from Sweden at our local High School some years ago who was speaking and taking questions at an assembly held for her and other exchange students.

When asked what she discovered about America that was totally different than what she believed or had been told about our culture. She said she grew up believing that Americans ate with one hand under the table because it held a gun, she brought the place down :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:
