I really only see the need to range to 1000 maybe a skoosh more. I have the Kestrel Sportsman and am wondering if the wifi is really worth another $250 for me.
I abhor spending $$ on electronics, but am trying to stick with a "buy once cry once" attitude.

I considered the Bushnell 1800 but get a "meh" feeling about it and can't even consider it comparable to Leica.

Ok. If you are on the fence about needing wifi. You probably dont really need it but if you have it you will NOT be disappointed.

Set up is realitively easy. I needed to upgrade the kestrel software on my Cameraland 249.99 sportsman. Not the paid upgrade yet just the free one through "Kestrel link" app to get communication. Once you plug in the ballistics values in the Kestrel and connect the CRF it's like F'n cheating.
Ranged 66% Ipsc plate at 629yards (safest target placement). 806 to a tree easily. 2365 to a wind turbine (No I didnt shoot the wind turbine).
    Thanks again Brianc74.

Also a 5.5 inch Arca rail allowed plenty of room for Lieca mount and a Bushnell T spotter. Co -witness will need a riser or micro ball mount for the Leica but should be doable.
