Might be a double post but the other one didn’t show up for some reason. You are correct, a 1903 circa 1939. I don’t carry most of my older colts anyway. I got beater guns like this 1938 Walther PP to carry.View attachment 7332868
I carried an early post-war Walter PP Manhurin .32 for years. One of the finest and most underrated carry guns out there. Dead nuts accurate, reliable as gravity. Still have mine. It’s a superb gun! Beautiful pre-war example, RC!

Anyone ever been to Boldt Castle? I highly recommend it. I've been a half dozen or so times since I was a kid.

For those who don't know. A man began building this for his wife. She died before completion and he abandoned it. IIRC, the State on NY came in and took over. Been many, many years "finishing" it. It's close now.
