Remember the old saw. "Internists know everything, but can do nothing. Surgeons can do everything, but know nothing. Pathologists know everything, but too late."

In this case, the surgeon "Doc Graham" doesn't know that most viral respiratory transmission is not from free-floating viruses, but from viruses suspended in aerosolized droplets, 98% of which are filtered by N95 masks. P100 masks filter 99.98% of such particles.

Guys that follow the advice of surgeons like the one quoted above are the same guys who insist that vaccines injure and kill almost nobody.

My older buddy just got back into riding after a 30 year absence about 10 years ago. I tried to get him to go with us to taco tuesday up by Mt. Hood but that required going over the narrow, windy, completely see through grated Hood River Bridge across the Colombia River. The Gorge is known a wind surfing/kiting meca due to the summer winds.

I finally convinced him to try since I do it all the time on DOT full knobbies. The throttle is your friend and just follow me and do as I do and you will be fine, don't look down, I said.

We headed on the bridge with about a 15-20 mph full value wind on our right. Could a see a logging truck and a rv coming just as we got on the grading. He looked nervous so I lofted the front end in 3rd gear and rode past all traffic, he just followed and tried to keep up.

His eyes were as big as pancakes when we got to the toll booth and I said how was the grading? He said I scared him so bad he didn't even notice!

Your front tire is not affected by the grates if its in the air. loosen your grip on the bars and let them do their thing, no big deal.

A little like riding in about anything soft, just kinda let the bike do its thing....just kinda keep it in the general area you want and you will be fine.

1903?
Gun Writer Steve Malloy (SWAT Mag) dropped one of them out of his boot and accidentally killed himself in the late 1990s.
Beautiful gun, just don’t carry it loaded.
Might be a double post but the other one didn’t show up for some reason. You are correct, a 1903 circa 1939. I don’t carry most of my older colts anyway. I got beater guns like this 1938 Walther PP to carry.

Very similar to comment I made at work when they brought us home made cloth masks to wear. One lady said, do you guys care if I don't wear this. I asked, "would we use chicken wire for mosquito netting?" Then laughed. Then they dropped the issue of forcing us to wear the masks we didn't want to. Its nice to live in small town and work with reasonable people.
