Anyone have a good bay fishing charter service for the Corpus Christi / Port Aransas area? I have always fished out of Venice, LA and decided to give the home state a try this summer with the wife.

Jay Watkins is one of the best, if you like wading shallow water with artificials. Pumpkin seed Bass Assassins work, as does fly if the wind lays down. He’s a really hard worker, fished with him a half dozen times. If you’re croaker soaker, more options. East Flats, Mud Island, bays across from Rockport and Goose Island can/have been excellent depending on time of year and your prey of choice.

Justin Machost 361-205-4117 I fished with him in April 21-22 we had a blast and easily limited out both days.I would count this in my top 5 fishing days of my life , and in 50 years that says alot. Give him a call he won't disappoint.

Fished with Jon 3 times. I used a fly rod last trip, he does not have fly gear but no issue with fly casting from the boat.

Justin Machost with Hooks and Horns Outfitters is the real deal. You know you hired the right guide when all the other guides are asking him for advise. Thanks to @OG10 for the recommendation! We will definitely be repeat customers.

Cooked some up tonight after the temp got down to 100.
