I wouldn't shoot non-jacketed lead ammo like 22LR through a non-user-serviceable can.

That’s what I was wondering if the normal clr soak and clean method would work or not

You can just clean it if you shoot a bunch of 22 through it. Vinegar and peroxide method for .22 gunk
