whats the difference between them? Never used the gen 1s.

Gen 1's work. Lol.

We've got 8 gen 1's and they've worked flawless since new. The last trip to Kansas, we brought two of the new gen 2's with us. One worked intermittently and the other never went off no matter what sensitivity setting it was on. (Side note...these are all being used at 2640+)
