White Privilege is moving your family to the city and not having the money to buy your son a pair of gym shorts that were required. So, mom took a white sheet and made him a pair.

White Privilege is moving your family to the city and only being able to afford to rent a townhouse where the back wall was coming away from the rest of the house.

I'm sure many of us have these kind of stories, but I get tired of this White Privilege crap that's going around.

as some of you may know, I have been involved in an organ donation case or three in my couple decades of working in hospitals.

i cannot imagine. Both the reminder of the heartbreak and the joy in knowing your choice saved a life.

once took care of a guy who found out he got his best friends wife’s kidneys. He found out about 1400 hrs on a Sunday after getting the call at 1900 the night before to come in urgently, they had a match. Transplant through the night, woke up around 1000 in the ICU.
he wasnt at the top of the list, but they were a perfect match.
His friend came to see him in the ICU I worked in. He wanted to see and hug his friend (right after losing his wife) to celebrate his new lease on life.
they had no idea till they talked.

Damn. Need more kleenex.

One that does anything from repairs to complete restorations to make your razor better than new.
