hey ya'll, i recently purchased a Leupold Vx-3i LRP on my savage 110 tactical. When i set my zero, its 3 mils too high and the turret is bottomed out. It came factory with a 20 moa rail but never had this issue with my Burris scope. Is this normal for this scope or is something wrong?

Just took a look at the manual on line:
To reposition the dials and the zero stop on VX-3i LRP adjustments:
1. Loosen the set screws on top of the dial until it moves freely.
2. Rotate the dial until the -0- on the indicator ring/zero stop aligns with the bottom of the dial.
3. Tighten the set screws until the dial is secure.

Should have 23.5 mils total travel so that is odd you'd be out of room. I guess just double check you've unlocked the zero stop and have it all the way up. You can often remove it altogether if you really wan to be certain it's not interfering.
