Basically World War II USMC dungaree herringbones in khaki.

I have a set in Olive so I know they are like the example I used. I have an original P41 blouse to compare them to. Filson material is a little thicker but the blouse is old.

    $60 is a good price.

Only thing that sucks is they are not hemming to order due to Covid but you can send them back for a repair.

That's a pain in the ass but at this price worth it.

    These pants sucked.

Material was fantastic but fit was skinny jean, AntiFa, awful.

Couldn't send them back fast enough.

So different from the olive drab herringbone version.

I have a set of balls, they need, they demand room.

FWIW, I've had great luck with 5.11 jeans/urban pants and Vertx jeans. Haven't checked to see how in-stock they are though. 😅

Ugh. 5.11 jeans must be designed by women, or men who carry purses. The pockets are tiny. Their other pants are fine, but the jeans are worthless for carrying anything, unless your wife/girlfriend wants you to carry her lipstick.

Duluth firehose and Duluth Ball-room jeans are all i wear.

durable, space for my bits, and actual pockets you can fit stuff in.

Yep you can stuff a full sized pistol in the pockets and still have room.

How do they run in terms of fit. Some of these brands are more roomy than others
they are a just slightly baggy in the ass, but otherwise fit fine.

i could do a chuck norris round house kick if i needed to......but i probably couldnt do a split.

Duluth Fire Hose pants / shorts, pretty much all I use any more.
Relaxed fit, plenty of room, crouch gusset....little warm in summer but hold up well.
I prefer Fire Hose, don't care for the Fire Hose Flex as much.

I wear the 5.11 stryke pants at work everyday. The khaki ones are the definition of .gov pants but they're really comfy and stretchy. If you bought them in another color they'd look like some REI pants or something.

You easily could have played this off as your massive quads ripped through the material as a light summer’s breeze made the tattered material flow like the liquor at the tiki hut in the 90’s....

    But nooooooooo

    I do. Hahaha
“The Muscles from Brussels: What Thighs Beneath”
I’ll get that one pushed out to the publisher and make sure there’s a signed copy for each Hide member. @pmclaine and I are still squatting through the details but it will be a solid release. Cover art is going to be him doing a split between two trucks carrying cases of match ammo while wearing UDT shorts.

Meanwhile, on the other side of the world, the sun began to rise on our hero. The fading light dancing across the glistening beads of sweat that have formed because they don’t build houses with AC here. Our hero peels himself off of his sheets as he rolls over to find his bride dead from heat stroke. “Looks like it’s Panama all over again.”he thinks to himself as he rolls back over to grab his bottle of warm whiskey. Can't beat these pants! You can catch them on sale from time to time!

prAna - Men's Stretch Zion Lightweight, Durable, Water Repellent Pants for Hiking and Everyday Wear https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00ZQEGLLW/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_DtElFb3XZPHM3

I actually have a set of those and I agree they are fantastic pants.

Bought em when I had REI points and used to shop there.

Mine are well over 15 years old and have been on some good hikes yet still look good enough they have been worn to some nice restaurants. Cargo pocket is kind of useless but otherwise.....

They are about as earthy crunchy as I get in trou..............the material is "cutting edge - space age" compared to my norms.

UDT shorts........couldnt wait to buy a set when a 1986 boot and I wanted to be high speed at swim qual........inseams so short Bball players of that era would blush at your lack of modesty.

Just thinking this morning how shit during my TIS had more similarity to WWII gear but we werent products of the Depression - skinny, malnourished, stunted growth.........hard of mind and body.

PM me your address and to keep you from writing anymore Ill send you a book to read - a memoir of the Old Breed.

I found my UDTs when we were going through everything before the move. I'm about 30 pounds heavier than when I was in (I didn't lift back then) so I didn't bother trying them on...although maybe I'll pop em on and take a pic for my next book... "190 Pounds of Shit Crammed into ALICE: A Love Story" lol.

In 03 we were still in the Vietnam era of gear and WW2 for training lol.

Ok ok ok I'll read it... but I'm going to follow my passion and continue to write the untold love stories of a generation...Sold exclusively at Publix magazine stands everywhere. Note: Each copy purchased comes with a coupon for a free Publix sub.

Actually I just ordered some Flex Firehose yesterday to try. I really liked the regular Firehose but the sizing in my case was small in the waste. I squeezed my fat ass in them anyway and they were super tough and offered great protection from the South Texas brush.

"She swiped right, and I followed her move........we got together for about thirty seconds as I prematurely ejaculated into the side of the bed........I kind of wish I knew her name....but not really."

The more accurate current modern romance novel.

I said relaxed, I meant flex. You'll be pleased I'll wager. Been using them everyday for years & they've held up well. I like the firehose pants more, but the flex is nice!
