Gunsmithing Can you use 6.5creed go/no go gauges on 6 creed

I have 6.5 gauges. But fixing to put a 6 creed barrel on myself. Can you use a 6.5 go/no go for 6 creed. Isnt it the exact same cartridge dimension just a smaller neck for 6 creed. Trying to save money and not buy another set of gauges.
