I’ve been thinking about getting an ar12 or ak12, most seem to be made in Turkey. Are all of them about the same? The designs all seem similar, I was thinking about the TR imports or Panzer in particular. I already have reliable defensive shotguns so this would be more of a range toy.

Yes , get it and enjoy it's a shot gun that looks like an ar .

That’s what I’m thinking, I’ve shot a few friends had and they are fun. Really trying to decide between spending more on a vepr like acudaowner said or one of the Turkish products.

I’ve spent allot of time with buckshot for fun as well, but I always have a ton of 7.5 or 8 laying around, between dove season and my son and I shoot clays allot, so I would like for it to be able to eat just about anything.

It would probably chew it up and spit it out. It’s pretty indestructible

I’ve got $100 that says an experienced duck hunter or trap shooter can load and empty a quality auto loader before someone with an AR/AK 12 can.

The only AK-12 variants than impress are tuned Saigas and Vepra.

I’ve yet to see a single AR-12 that didn’t feel like trash immediately.

Comparing a saiga or a vepr to a Benelli m4is like apples to peanuts. One is trashy the other is elegant and vicious. I’d take the M4 any day and twice on Sunday. However, doesn’t mean the AK 12’s aren’t fun as shit to shoot.

Oh I know they’re fun to shoot, I just don’t see a practical purpose other than a range toy.
