My first striker fired handgun since i retired from Law Enforcement, our PD issued Glock 21s, which i never cared for. I gotta admit though......its REALLY nice!!!! Sig 320 Legion

I sold a Gen5 19 and bought a 320 X carry and I couldn’t be happier

I liked the legion so much that i worked a trade and just picked up an FDE Xcarry...i didnt care for the factory module as much so ordered a wilson combat to see if it fits my hand better.

Love the Wilson module!

Here's my 320 journey. I am not a Sig fanboy but I find myself now owning an example of every P series Sig. Last Fall I decided to get the last of the P-family, the P320. I got the 9mm X-VTAC (Vickers Tactical ) without the safety. I found it had a 7 lb flat trigger which was not very forgiving shooting support hand only at human reaction time. The OEM grip was very block (Glock)-like, and I have a lot of Glocks, but combined with a big-box store sized beaver tail I found it quite difficult to rapidly index a holster grip without the beaver tail snagging on my first thumb-index finger web space. So, I whittled down the beaver tail, converted to the "updated" slide stop grip modules (which are radiused rather than blocky AND as you can observe in comparative photos, have a raised boundary about the slide stop to minimize unintentional contact-which the Wilson does not have), added a Leupold Delta Point Pro w/adjustable rear sight, Dawson .455" fiber optic front sight, GrayGuns fat recoild guide rod with 1911 style flat recoil guide rod spring options. Finally swapped out the factory flat trigger with GrayGuns "curved trigger" pkg. reducing the trigger pull to a smooth 4.5 lbs and ditched the Sig grip module for the Wilson module (only one size = medium /one black color at the moment of my purchase). I have 8500 rounds thru it using a Safariland drop leg rig / GLS holster to accommodate the optic mounting (as Safariland just now has gotten around to offering their RDS optic ready holster for the Sig P320, so its on track to be delivered in a month or so). I now have a Franken-Sig as the only thing remaining from Vickers original setup is the slide / barrel. When the proper optic-light holster arrives I'll update with photos. That is all.

Excellent choice on the legion! I started out very anti-p320. Then I made the mistake of shooting a p365 (that I really wanted to hate), then a p320 pro carry, then a legion. They are like pringles...

Ever find yourself actually switching out grip modules, or does that not really happen? I thought that was one of the main selling points of the serialized FCU.

I will eventually pick up one of the Wilson modules just to see if they are up to the hype. I think the main benefit of the Fcu are in stated that restrict how many guns you can own/purchase.

These are currently out of stock, but when they become available they work 100% for me and are a great price!
