I've always used the Lee Case Length Gauge and ball cutter to trim my brass. I just recently started using the Forster Bushing Bump Die on my Lapua 308 brass. Did the correct math (case neck thickness x2 plus bullet diameter minus .002")
Bumped the shoulders back .002" and sized the neck. When I sent to stick the Case Length Gauge in the neck, the neck diameter is way too small now.
Never had this issue FL or neck sizing only before. Did I screw this up or do I need to stop using the Lee method for trimming and switch methods?
Thanks in advance SH
