Several years ago, was way out in the sticks late at night and driving down gravel road. I seen a Goat with it head threw a fence and horns locked him from pulling back out. So I stopped and backed up and got out of the truck to let him loose.
There was that exact breed of Dog laying back behind it in the grass, guarding it from coyotes or a cat that are thick out there. He would have laid there all night if necessary to protect it.
I took out the wire cutters I had and went over and sniped a wire and released the goat. The Dog just laid there quietly and watch me. It was funny, at exact same time I let go the goats horn, I said to the dog, " get his ass back home ! ". The dog jumps up and was right on the goat ass, nipping him, running him full speed back the farm.

HR called....they said something about what happened on "Bring your pet to work day"? You need to speak to them ASAP.

I gotta be honest with you. I thought that story was going to be way different when you said you found a goat with its head caught in the fence.

The NASA plane has some interesting history behind it.
This particular jet, referred to as the F-16XL, was assembled from two crashed F-16’s with a 30 inch stretch plug inserted to give enough length to accommodate the new wing. The jet ended up at NASA Edwards AFB for Aeronautics research. This configuration appears to be one with tufts installed to study the aerodynamic flow characteristics. There you have it…..another lesson over the internet for those being “home-schooled.”

Yep, remember it too. IIRC, I had seen a picture from above, probably from a helicopter while the plane was taxiing. Passengers sitting in their seats, strapped in. Flying doesn't bother me in the least. But, I would have been puckered up a bit......

I ALWAYS keep my belt on loosely because of this.

What's sad about this situation is that he almost has to be an off duty cop to legally carry in Chicago. It's the same situation in Maryland. If you want to carry legally, good luck...
