I spoke with a gentleman who works for one of, if not the largest powder and primer distributors in N.C. today, and he says, according to industry insiders, not to expect much in the way of primer availability until February 2021. Just a trickle between now and then.

    Why? Why wait?

I have a client who is an exec at a big firearms company. He said the same approximate timeframe of February. Its a worldwide raw materials delivery shortage problem. Any primers being made are going into loaded ammo. Most loaded rounds are being made for military and LE usage. Consumer sales for ammo will be next. But component purchasers are waaaay down the list. He said about 99% of primers go into loaded factory ammo.

I have lots of primers and am willing to trade for some quality ass.
