My go-to every weekend smokes are the Oliva V Melanio and the My Uzi Weighs a Ton by Drew Estate.

I had a couple AJ Fernandez Last Call Maduros recently that were great.

On the Connecticut side of the house, I like Nub Connecticut and Oliva Connecticut Reserve.

Damn, I'm glad this thread is back. Still running 2 humidors that are slap full, but haven't burned one in the better part of a year. Gonna have to jump back in.

@MarinePMI I run Boveda exclusively and have for several years. I like my sticks a little drier than most and they're fire and forget. The 2 way humidity control is genius. I just set a reminder on my phone for every 2 weeks or so and swap as needed. I buy them by the case. The only other thing I found that was as consistent is hartfelt beads but Boveda is easier for me.

We use the shit out of the Bovedas at Warfighter. Being a cigar rep has its perks, but I also enjoy everyone else’s cigars too.

Ive got an anniversary 05 Camacho that’s been sitting in the humidor, that will be lit this weekend.

Had a bomb little Robusto Cabal the other day, great flavor out of a small stick. Not overpowering, it was just enough to let you know it was there.

Report back on that Camacho. Inquiring minds want to know.

You guys have some great taste in cigars.
Do any of you enjoy some Viaja's?

I've been hooked on the Skull n Bones.
Very similar to a Monte C X but they just do not last as long.

Never realized there was a cigar thread!! Here's my current inventory. Just recently purchased a box of Drew Estated Liga Privada T52s and Foundation El Gueguense. Also a few other random cigars.

Also purchased a few Viaje Zombies and Tatuaje Karloff's for the spooky season!

I have been using the Boveda’s for years. Don’t throw them out once they have crystallized, leave them overnight in a Tupperware box with just enough distilled water to cover the Bovedas and they’ll rehydrate. Pat ‘em dry and they’re ready to use again.

I’m in the UK, so smoke mostly Cubans - I favour Partagas, Ramon Allones and Bolivar. Smoked a lot of non-Cuban stuff too, love the Liga Privadas, Foundation Tabernacle and a whole lot of other stuff I’ve probably forgotten about.

Good to hear what you fellas are smoking. Let’s try and keep this thread alive!

Cbid isn't for those who lack self control but I get on there every now and then.

Small batch cigars is usually my go-to.
Warfighter, four tour farms, Neptune and Cigar Federation pretty much gets the rest of my business. I don't completely dislike Cigars International, but they ship em really wet, so anything from there needs some nap time, in my experience.

I've been wanting to try some from Ezra Zion, but haven't pulled the trigger yet. As far as Viaje, love the skill and bones, stuffed turkey dark meat and jalapeno. They sell out quickly so I haven't had very many in their line.

Does anyone have any recommendations for a super excellent cigar that sells for cheap? I really like maduros, chocolate, pepper, and cream flavors.

whats your definition of "cheap" ?

Say maybe less than $6 a stick online that's reliable and consistent in flavor, burn, and construction from stick to stick. I like Padron Anniversary series but too high to have on the regular.

You won’t go wrong with an Alec Bradley Tempus Maduro.

you might want to check out the Dunbarton Umbagog.....its nothing crazy, but its a good enjoyable daily smoke.

if you really like a chocolate, pepper, cream flavor.....you really should treat yourself to a Sin Compromiso, at least once

If you can catch them on sale (not hard to do) the Camacho line of cigars is the way to go for the price you are looking to hit. Chocolate, spicy but not overpowering, ton of smoke. I buy them by the box. Really a better cigar than the price you pay.

Which Camacho? I've had a couple of them

You can catch the Oliva Series V Melanio Maduros on sale for about $6-$8 a stick (when you buy a box of 10). I have found that a 7mm punch cutter evokes the smoothest flavor, Lots of chocolate flavors with a hint of pepper. Towards the end it finishes with more of an espresso flavor and a bit more pepper.

If I rated them for my taste I would put them in this order:
-Barrel aged, American or Nicaraguan. So damn good. Hard to get for under $6 but worth every penny. Jeremy Siers had a review of these on YouTube that I thought was pretty spot on.
-Connecticut
-Corojo
-Criollo

I'm not a fan of the Triple Maduro. Too much nicotine for me and the flavors are not my thing, but I see others rave about them so it must be me. I have not tried the Ecuador yet but its on the list.

The thing about the Camachos is that they are consistently good and flavorful. A good scotch or bourbon can really make them stand out. I smoke pretty often and its my end of day relaxation; I want a cigar that I'm not fighting and doesn't mess that time up. The buzz to help take the edge off the day helps too. These cigars fit that bill.

That Oliva Leaf Corojo if it can maintain consistency between cigars will also get thrown into the mix soon too.

Thanks guys. I ordered some of the Sin Compromidos and Umbagogs, along with some Drew Estate Nica Rusticas. I may pick up a box of the Melanio Maduros as well.

Those Sin's are outstanding sticks! And if you like the Padron 1926, give the X000 series maduro a try. Definitely not as complex, but a good all around budget stick thats already aged tobacco. Dead in your price range too

Foundation Cigars makes the Charter Oak in either Connecticut or Maduro. I’ve had the Connecticut blend and thought it was a good everyday smoke.

$112 for a box of 20 in Toro size at cigars international

Has anyone tried the Bugatti line? I had a Medio given to me the other day to try out.

The 1926 #2 is my favorite non cuban cigar.

How does the T52 compare to the Liga 9?

To me it’s a step up from the No. 9. I do really enjoy the 9 but I prefer the flavor profile of the T52.

The 52 has more of an espresso, chocolate flavor to it. There’s an earthy sweetness to it that I really enjoy. I also get a black pepper taste through the retrohale.

Both are great cigars. I loved the 9 but when I tried the 52 I knew it was a better profile for my palate. Give it a shot, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed
