Just got a B14r and the balance point is almost all the way to the rear of the rifle. Any ideas on how to mitigate this other than throwing it in a chassis?
Thanks

Steel barrelCarbon barrel or steel barrel?
Weighted arca rail from Area 419.
Shave down the fore-end barrel channel and line it with lead/epoxy for weight?
I would say it’s at/or even rear of the trigger slightly...where is the balance exactly, relative to the trigger?
Get a weighted arca rail from area419, you can pay extra and make them make the rail itself in steel inside of aluminum, then all the brass weights.
How much extra are we talking?
It’s stock heavy already. I put on a Harris bipod and that alone helped a ton. Balance point now is just in front of the mag.Get a couple of these weights and try them on the stock in place of the fillers. https://kineticresearchgroup.com/product/lop-spacer-heavy/
It’s nice when it’s a easy fix and a useful item to add the weightIt’s stock heavy already. I put on a Harris bipod and that alone helped a ton. Balance point now is just in front of the mag.![]()
