6.5 CM Free Bore

If you were getting a new barrel for a 6.5 CM, and you don't reload, and you shot only the new prime would you go .169 or .199 SMMI freebore . I believe bullet is 130 g Sierra Match King. LRI offers chambering in these dimensions. Thanks!

Throat length on 6.5 Creedmoor chamber

Hello, Have a #2 Hawk Hill getting done and it is going on a Rem 700 adl with factory mag box. The smith can throat it at .150 throat length so that the 147 eld will touch the lands at 2.808 or so. Thinking the saami throat is around .198. Thinking there would be no downside to going shorter...

I've had several 6.5cm barrels and .199 works great for 130s and heavier. If you want to shoot lighter bullets I'd go for the shorter freebore.

The PX clogs the results. Uses the advance search to help filter it out.
