Hopefully right spot to post this ... so every year starting at sundown the fireworks start going off around the city with explosions. Some of the explosions sound pretty damn big. I know proximity and landscape affect the sounds, but some of these things sound like 105's in the distance. So what the hell are they blowing up? when I was younger the 'ol M80 and M100 were the rage, now I'm not sure what people use to "celebrate"

Guys in my area make a homemade thing with sparklers. Loud as hell. One may have put an old washing machine about 100 feet in the air...
Yeah I was thinking the same thing. I hear in some states you can just go buy some pretty crazy shit. In CA you get a ticket for lighting farts in tight pants
Eh ... I think they are waiting for direction from their handlers. Not expecting anything until from them until after Jan 20 and/or spring.
