Long time hobby builder and vintage sniper fan. Will be reading and checking things out for while. More later when I get up to speed with the list.

The vintage military matches I have been shooting this last year are fired from 200 to 1000 yards. The targets are steel cut in various shapes. Ten rounds for each of ten targets that are at different ranges.
My other vintage game is shooting the same type of match with black powder cartridge rifles using period correct scopes either original or reproductions.

What period specific gun and scope combo is your go-to?

Remington Rolling Block (45-70) with an RHO reproduction 6x with all external adjustment for black powder matches.

For vintage military an 03A3 with an MVA Winchester "B" series scope. Actually this rifle is a new to me rifle that I will be using this next year. Sure to be my go to for the future.
