Help; what to refinish Rem 700milspec with?

Hello all. I’m wanting to finish my Remington 700 milspec, which has 500-600 rounds through. It’s all stainless and I’ve been wanting to subdue it for years. I was just going to paint it camo but I want the best results and would like the shinny bolt to not be shinny anymore either....
I contemplated nitriding it, but seems people say not to do that with a used rifle/barrel, heard others say not the greatest to do with stainless because of the temperature it needs to be heated to.

So here I am looking for options, thoughts, opinions and people with experience for guidance. Thank you in advanced for any info you guys can offer

Cerakote all the way. I had my 700p 5r cerakoted a few months ago. 80 some bucks, to paint the action, bolt handle, and Raw aluminum floor plate.

One option that is pretty handy is to go to their homepage, cerakote.com and click the find applicator link. From there you can enter your zip code and you'll be provided a list of trained cerakote applicators in your area.

Go to the cerakote website and search for certified applicators. You may have a shop nearby.

Thank you guys. There are some shops near me. Now it’s just a matter of picking which color I want.
