The Frank and Marc Show is returning to:
GOPHER RIFLE AND REVOLVER CLUB, HARRIS, MN.
We are targeting the 13th - 15th of August.
Your commitment will help ensure that this Course takes place.
We have great accommodations and have THE bar / restaurant to suit us.
    Sign up to arm-wrestle the corn-fed locals and world-champion @lowlight. :-]]

Sign up below and email [email protected] to be put on the roster. Payment due later, in the summer.

See you THERE for another great time in MINN-E-SO-TA!!!

I'm really looking forward to this, it's going to be a long winter of anticipation!

This course will be filled locally, really, so don't mistake interest here for total interest.
    See: Price UT, 2021.

Tagging in. This is only twenty minutes from me. Does the price include lodging and or food?
lunch is included all 3 days and we'll have a cooler of water available since it's usually kind of hot in August. We do have free camping available on site as well. I'm personally bringing my travel trailer as I'm a glamper.

The event is up on the GRRC calendar. We'll likely be publishing a jotform page to collect initial payment of $200 (100 towards range costs, and a 100 down payment towards the instructors), so standby for that, we're working on it.

I'm tempted to stop in a week or two before the class and give those boys some motivation to come back out!.

This is a great class, with a lot of diversity and a fun time,

The Bigfoot Bar is on the way back to the hotel too ...

    Classroom -
    Note pad, pen, pencil
Rifle Data Book, zeroing pages, standard data pages, shooter’s diary pages. A simple notepad will work.
    Coffee Cup
Attire: Dress to shoot as we will transition to and from the range during classroom instruction. Absolutely NO AMMUNITION enters the Classroom, please.

    Range -
Rifle, unloaded, bolt to rear, mag out. Bipod attached.
Ammunition - 200 rounds for the course. Have it broken up so it is not being lugged around. TWO or more magazines recommended.
Shooting pad - with forward straps for bipod. Cabelas offers a good one. $60
Rear Bag - TAB GEAR or PRECISION UNDERGROUND preferred, as it will be taught in the course of instruction. HEAVY, NOT LIGHT.
Obstacle bags or props that you are comfortable with. (Optional)
Data Book, with writing instrument. — Impact Data Books, the “Sniper’s Hide” package.
Weather Meter - Kestrel - Can be shared. Optional. I like the Kestrel model 5000.
Ballistic Solver - Optional. We will be working with Weaponized Math mainly.
Range Bag holding all of the day’s shooting essentials and SCOPE TOOLS.
    Bottled water, thermos, etc.
Thermacell and backup cartridges, in case the mosquitoes are particularly bad.

I sent the roster over to Marc. It's shaping up to be another good class!

13 enrolled. Will shut this down soon, so don't drag your feet if you want in.

1 spot left, then we'll be taking standby reservations.

    Signed up last night.

If I were on the 'standby' list I assume I would have been notified? About to make hotel reservations @ AmericInn

We have one more spot open. There was one guy that on Marcs list but after two emails he still hasn’t officially signed up. So there’s one spot left, first come, first serve

Aaaaaand we’re full. If you want on to the standby list, let me know.

one dropped, so we have 1 slot available again.

we had a couple of drops, so there is still room in the class if interested. Let me know here or via the email address Marc posted above.

well the food has been ordered, the campers are in the campground, E Targets in our possession, and the weather is really shaping up. The weather geniuses say a front is coming through tonight and the dew points are going to drop, and temps should be in the upper 70s to mid 80s. Huge improvement over last year!

Hard to put into words how slick this class really is. Really you just have to sign up and do it..you may not know it yet but it'll be the best investment you make in your shooting platform whatever that may be. You got this scope instead of that scope or a sweet chassis and xyz bipod, great, I bet a guy (person) with 1000$ entire system can out shoot you if they've taken this class.

    Get ready Iowa!

A truly great class! Frank and Marc have a process that flat out works. They hammer forge the fundamentals into you. Doesn't make a difference if your shooting a .224 Valkyrie gas gun or a 300NM...hammer forged fundamentals work. They also go above and beyond with the after range festivities. Very glad I went. I can see why people go back year after year.

Thanks Frank and Marc. Truly an amazing class that completely showed me how to correct bad habits and bad fundamentals and feel confident behind my rifle.

There was a point where everything started to feel good and I no longer felt like I was fighting with the rifle. Without thus class I don't know that I would have ever gotten there.

I will be attending another class in the future for sure!

Oh and thanks to everyone else that was there. Great group of guys. Hope to shoot with many of you again!!

I think 3 days was best for the course, that extra time to work through things was helpful. Four days would've probably been better.

One thing I I would like to learn more about is working on sighting, ranging and shooting unknown distances like in NRL Hunter.

If my rifle and scope wouldn't have taken a shit on me during the class and I had things more prepped in advance, I think it would've gone smoother on my end.

For future folks looking to attend: prepare your hand loads or reloads you want to use with your rifle in advance and bring ~230 rounds. The dope and the data is pretty much the most relevant reloading information you will ever get.

I'm going to get a cheap frame for the cert and the dollar I got from Marc to remember not to slap the trigger 😅.
