Teacher who helped stop Idaho middle school shooting has ties to Arizona

The teacher, Krista Turnblom Gneiting, is an 8th grade teacher at Rigby Middle School. Family members say Gneiting recounted her experience on Thursday night.

Bro... a little 6th grade girl pulled out a gun and started wylin out. What is that 11? I had a gun at that age, and i hunted and knew where my parents kept the guns. I never touched those guns because i feared and respected my parents.... because they beat the shit out of me when i was bad. The thought of taking one to school never crossed anybodys minds because... our parents beat the shit outta us. I think everybody with a kid should find some reason and just give em a good ole wailing for good measure. People these days dont have any respect though. People with no self or personal respect raising little people with no grasp of the concept of it at all.

They got tired of reporting the gang shootings in North Tuscon.
The teacher has "ties" to Arizona. Maybe she visited the Grand Canyon once.

She is from az. She was familiar with guns, enough to help stop the shooting. Just the news station trying to get in on the limelight. It really has no bearing on the situation, other than we are a pro 2a state and that seemed to maybe help a little.
