The Insanity Of Gun Prices

Now I know everyone has raised their prices across the board for their firearms. But this is just crazy. I was on Gunbroker and was looking at an old 12 ga SxS damascus Black Powder shotgun. It was in rough shape, but most shotguns like this are.

I've bought these for $200-300 in the past. This thing closed for $831.

I looked at a beat Trapdoor Springfield 45-70 the other day. The guy wanted $350 for it but the inside of the barrel barrel looked like a rusty gravel road, and it had been chopped with a hacksaw. 20 years ago those were $50 wall hangers.

you can still run across deals. i picked up a G17 for 350 bucks, flipped it 2 months later for 600.
