OK, so first can we address the stupidity of calling them "gold stars" which you get for good behavior in grade school, instead of yellow stars, which is what Jews were forced to wear. It is not an insignificant difference to those of us whose families wore them.
Second, I understand the analogy, I just think it is a bad one at a bad time, strategy wise. When Democrats are shooting themselves in the foot with Jews around the country, and truly outing themselves as the party of Hamas, common sense says to let them continue, and don't get in the way. This was an unforced error. Again, look at how the Tories handled similar issues w/r/t Corbyn, and the results they got.
Finally, I can tell you that if you are trying to attract Jews to your side, don't compare everything to the Holocaust. Likewise, I would not suggest addressing a bunch of black people who were conservative curious and starting out with "Hey you guys, you should really support lower taxes, because taxes are JUST LIKE SLAVERY!!!" It no doubt would not be a good strategy, as good an analogy as it might be to you and me.
That is all I am saying. Strategy matters. Communications matter. Unless you are resolved to charging ahead into some ill conceived civil war, the way you deal with people who could be on your side matters.

We should be much louder on all the school stuff, the COLLUSION with the teachers unions etc. We should be louder on the absolute BS surrounding the Covid origins. There are a lot of places to be aggressive, but my feeling is that there is a significant leadership vacuum, which makes for no coherent messaging, and which allows people to go OFF THE RESERVATION, which I would not say to a bunch of Native Americans who might be on my side because of pipeline dollars!!
