To the brains trust. Automating a weighed powder charge.

I'm working towards fully automating my whole precision rifle reloading process. There is 1 part that I can't automate to the level I'm happy with and that is the powder. My only thought so far is to buy a Prometheus gen 2 and mount it above my Dillon which will run on a mark 7 auto drive. My thought is mount a stepper motor onto the Prometheus that is activated by a micro switch triggered by the ram being all the way up.
This is a he'll of an expensive gamble on buying a Prometheus for something that may work.
Does anyone have any ideas on another way to get automated weighed charge dumped 8nto the powder funnel on a dillon 750

I've been working on this for a few years and have it pretty close. The system can still be finicky. Which is the reason I haven't launched it commercially. Vibration of the press has always been part of the challenge, I have been meaning to put the servo motor on the press to automate that portion. Which will also aid in controlling vibration.

Care to elaborate any more you can message if you don't want to post it public yet. My thoughts so far was what ever scale system I used would be completely separate to the press. It would be on a heavy duty steel frame bolted directly to the concrete so as the working of the press didn't affect it

I have started mine with an A&D scale and Satturous. Even with the press bolted to a steel frame on a 12" concrete slab, and the scale mounted in the shelf on the wall it's still been a challenge. Air bearings have done the trick, but that will not work for the masses.
