The people she puts off are dumb.

If they are not put off by Chuck Schumer, Nadler on looks alone, or waters on looks and message than they are just too dumb to even be concerned about.

The communists have no aesthetics other than a media.

That media still maintains some level of unshakable credibility with certain demographics.

Those demographics are the shit that flows in and out with the tide....jetsam and flotsam.

They refuse to take charge of the direction in their lives and their existence is determined by what the media says.

They need to determine to evolve and grow legs or fins in order to get control over their lives.

Their strategic goal is "The fundamental change of America" That means the ending of the Constitutional Republic. Simple, succinct, achievable. That is strategic thinking an achievable goal easily stated. Compare it to the strategy that is "Global War on Terror".

To achieve their strategic goal the tactics are - create economic collapse, degrade society, destroy foundations of the Republic, divide and destroy the idea of a American cultural unity.

How is any of this aesthetically pleasing to that salt of the earth, middle of the road middle America centrist you think is offended by Trumps mean tweets and MTG?

If it is as you state those people are stupid...they are unable to see....they arent worth fighting for and when push comes to shove wont fight for either outcome......they will bleat and become a burden on whatever side they run to. Let the commies have the useless mouths to feed.

Looks like Canada has already implemented that reality if rumor is right....

Kind of have my doubts as other than here I havent seen it reported elsewhere that our neighbor to the North is now nothing more than a copy of China with Xi for life, Russia with Putin the puppeteer, Venezuela with Maduro or NK with Kim only difference is gender of the leader, Canada being literally "odd man" out.

Cyber Attack Hits JBS Global Meat Processing Operations ​

JBS USA, the world's largest meat supplier, released a statement Sunday evening, saying it was the target of an "organized cybersecurity attack."

JBS, which has North America headquarters in Greeley, Colorado, said the cyber attack "affected some of the servers supporting its North American and Australian IT systems."

Industry website Beef Central said the attack already impacted two shifts and halted processing at one of Canada's largest meatpacking plants. Operations at all beef and lamb slaughterhouses in Australia ground to a halt, and some slaughtering and fabrication shifts have also been canceled in the U.S.

It's still unknown how the attack might impact consumers or if a meat shortage would be sparked. There is still no word on a timeline of when the JBS' systems will be completely restored.

As far as aesthetics, I mean of politicians, not of outcomes. There is no denying that the Democrats have a slicker machine, and they look better doing it. It is a big reason they win that middle. The dumb comments and mean tweets don't help either. Look, I am obviously not averse to being an asshole and making jerky comments online, but see where that gets me. And I don't really care if anybody agrees with me or not.

Machiavelli argued, pretty convincingly, that the downfall of ancient Republicanism was that the very best minds concentrated on only the good people, whom they believed could understand their thoughts and act at the highest level of humanness, while they allowed the average person to be wooed by the very corrupt Catholic church by offering them eternal life and earthly succor. This realization was, in many ways, the beginning of political enlightenment/modernity. At some point, in the enlightenment, great minds reversed that, and they appealed to the average in order to bring them into the fold. If we are unable to woo these people, no matter how much disdain you might have for them, we lose. Plain and simple. As the French say, "les cons gagnent toujours, ils sont trop." We need them on our side, and we need to think of how to make that appeal. Trump had some of that, but where he gained on the front end of it, he generally lost on the back end, which isn't good enough.

I am deliberately not addressing any of the ideas that voting is over, it's all a sham etc. That has been hashed over enough. What I am saying is that 1) we have to act like it still matters in case it does*, and 2) if it matters we have to be strategic about it.

There is nothing attractive in these people nor is their message rational.

Which argument can I not make and remain conservative? The only argument I have made is that for a party to win elections it needs to have a strategy of getting more people to vote for them than the other guy, which means convincing a whole lot of non true believers.

Totally agree about Nadler, but they really try to keep him as far from the limelight as possible. They didn't even want him talking at Impeachment I, and arguably public opinion turned against them when he spoke.

But I will tell you this, and I think it is what people here get so wrong. When you talk about the aesthetics of politics, you have to understand that it doesn't so much matter what we find appealing or disgusting, it is what the median voter finds appealing or disgusting. That is the Trump story, that so many loved him, but in that middle 5%, they found him gross. Whereas, for example, Obama was found disgusting by the R base, but was extremely aesthetically appealing to the median. Bill Clinton as well. I get the feeling that not many people here have to sell themselves as a job, which is fine, because the process is kind of gross. But you learn that what you need to do is to think of what the other person sees, and not what you see. I believe that is what we miss.

Lets take it at face value that Biden actually got the ballots MSM says he got.

If we accept that than we have to accept Trump won more votes than any other President accept Xiden.

Now we also have to accept that Xiden won despite losing just about every bell weather county, despite having less votes than Hillary in many areas that she won, despite Trump increasing votes in segments of the voting population that are traditionally blue stalwarts and failing to recognize the fuckery of each of the 5 states he needed to win having some really screwy unprecedented stuff occur late at night in order to overcome totals statistically impossible to overcome in every election until CV19 was invented.

Trump started to reverse the idea votes could be bought and voters were beginning to realize being free, working and taking advantage of opportunity provided good outcomes.

For the democommunists this was the silver spike in their blood sucking hearts.

They have no platform beyond institutional dependency.

It seems you are proposing we try and beat them at the dependency game. we have to want them to desire conservative dependency more than personal responsibility.

No, I am not proposing we beat them at the dependency game. I am proposing we beat them at the idea game. We have done it before. We have to offer a positive concept of society that is preferable to the median voter than that which the Democrats offer. Given the dismal outlook on the world they propose, that shouldn't be that hard. I agree with you we will not win over the 40% that are unwinnable for various reasons, but we cannot have a message that tops out at 46 or 47%. The presidential election aside, as we will agree to disagree on that, we got shellacked in 2018 mainly because of how many people were turned off. That was the difference between 2016 and 2018. Did better in 2020, but we need to do better still or we are fucked.

Pretty sure his 3 appointees will NOT be originalists. I'm most disappointed with ACB. Whilst I thought she was going to be good, I'll admit I didn't take into account she has a large exposure to being blackmailed because of her large family. Never expected much from Kavanaugh - Levin warned us about him. But ACB will be the next RBG at current rate.
