Look, I've suggested many times that perhaps our difference in perspective on this is a difference in relative situation with regards to different policies. I have no idea about your life, your work etc, and no idea about how different policy has affected you, and likewise you have little idea about how different policies have affected me. With these things where you sit is often where you stand. You could feel completely fucked by a certain policy, while I see it as a net positive for me. You might care about something greatly which means nothing to me, and vice versa. Yet, all you do is squeal like a maniac and never really say anything cogent. It is just about how stupid I am, how much dick I must suck, how much I like to get fucked in the ass. It's really pretty lame, and hardly convincing, if you are trying to make headway.
Again, you assume a lot of things. I think you have a problem with perspective, as in not being able to see anything from one other than your own. Since you really don't know anything about me, you don't know how I have benefitted nor been hurt by Republican policies. Likewise, you don't know if I give a lot of money, have a lot to do with the party, or if I just show up to vote. It's unreasonable. I do not discount the idea that you feel terribly hurt by Republicans, and are very angry, and that you have good reason to be. The masks had nothing to do with health. They do not and will not ever slow the spread of a damn virus. Non debatable. Nobody died or didn’t die because of a mask unless the mask itself was contaminated and caused issues which did happen.
We were never in a dangerous pandemic. 600,000 Americans did not die from this virus. There is no covid test. All numbers put forth are lies. Knowing this makes this whole situation even more sickening.
since we now know that covid opens up the cells to bacterial invasion, we can also speculate that increased bacterial load caused by masks may have caused more illnesses in cases where covid was not impacting the patient on its own.
similarly to the spanish flu, many may have succumbed to dirty masks and not the flu.
So serious question that nobody seems to answer. I understand the distrust in the health care officials and numbers reporting on all of this. I don't necessarily agree with it, but I certainly understand it. But how do you square the circle of doctors who have had numerous patients suffering and dying with this disease, and thinking that nobody really died from it. Is the assumption that they don't know what they are talking about, or that they are part of the lie? Or is it just that some are dying, but since no doctor is seeing a substantial part of the population, extras are just added to the real death count?
Putting in the simplest of terms. People have and will die “from Covid” just like they have and will from the Flu. The difference is a people with end stage diseases or co-morbidities did not and do not count as flu deaths as they do with Covid.
I understand that, but I don't believe it accounts for the level of discrepancy being suggested. Plus, people have been conflating comorbidities with comorbidities that are causing death. IOW, being fat is considered a comorbidity, but if there was a disease that immediately killed all fat people, it would wipe out 2/3 of the country, and those deaths would obviously be attributed to the disease, though the fatness was an issue. Extreme case, but to make a point.
More precisely, I have no known comorbidities, my neighbor might be overweight with slightly high blood pressure, my other neighbor might have terminal cancer. My neighbors would both be considered to have comborbidities, but only one is reasonably going to die in the next 12 months, yet by waving a hand over the entirety of comorbidities, you get a wrong picture, as much as you do counting the end stage cancer patient as a Covid death.*
*My neighbors are all health, no neighbors were hurt in the production of this post.
