Strange question...but have y’all seen a lot of dead birds lately?

I heard it was the giant windmills generating electricity.

Have you noticed any giant windmills lately that weren't there before? (HINT: If you have just noticed them, do not admit to that here!)

No shortage of resident Canada geese in our yard. September can't get here soon enough.

Only dead one I say was yesterday.........while mowing the yard.......looked like a Bluejay...........didn't have but a few feathers ...........he must have fallen from the nest........splat........I kicked him off the sidewalk...........

About 5 killed themselves running into my windows this past year, although not without numerous survivors. Watched a robin impact but survive. It hobbled over to a tree branch and did a little swirly drunk hobble for a while trying to keep itself upright with gravity, looked like a cartoon reaction. If they hit the window when I'm in the room, makes me jump every time.

Watched two crows steal a young bird from the parents. They would pick it up to about 15 feet, then drop it on the pavement, peck at it hard a few times then repeat.

All the dead birds I've seen lately have not died from mysterious circumstances.

Only road killed, most look like buzzards.
I used to have a white 2000 Dodge ram, I don't know what it was about that truck but bird strikes were just about weekly in it.

Weird but yes, here is Southern California I have noticed about 3-4 dead birds a week when talking a dog for a walk. Same walk I have taken for last 12 years and never seen before. Was kinda wondering why so many?

It's funny you mention this. I've had three birds this week suicide themselves into my pickups. One on Monday, and two yesterday. Its the most birds I've hit since I accidentally hit a crow with a dodge tow mirror doing 60 down a county road a few years ago.

Nope....and not even when we want to see dead bird....i.e. waterfowl season. Goose and duck in Maryland eastern shore has sucked for past five years and now they cut our bag and our season.

Nope....would have like to have seen lots more dead birds this last winter.
