What is the current cost & availability of components. Have seen primers on the internet for $60 but have not tried ordering. Are they really there? Bullets seem generally available & have not looked into powder.

I know that no one has a crystal ball, but, do you think that a year from now things will be more available & not as costly? Or, if I don't built stock up now I will be sorry.

Lots of scam sites out there these days. If they only accept zelle / bitcoin its a scam.... Stick to the known sites, or ask around. These scammers know people are desperate. If it's too good to be true, it usually is.

Primers are typically sold out within 60 seconds still if the price is under $100/1k delivered. You can manage ~$75/k delivered if you manage to score 5x bricks from Grafs or Natchezss.
Popular powders like Varget, H4350, etc also sell out quickly. If you order 5lbs or 8lb jugs, you can get the cost down to maybe $38-40lb delivered at best once hazmat is factored in.

With what seems like quarterly price increase notices floating around the internet, I don't see the prices coming down to pre-panic levels.

Primer and bullets are out there. Powder is non-existent for the more popular brand/variety and hit or miss for the less popular brands and varieties. If you have the tech knowledge to make/run a bot or if you are retired and have nothing to do but sit and refresh your browser screens or camp at the front door of your LGS, you will get some. Be prepared to pay whatever they are asking immediately (within seconds).

Stock up now and forevermore no matter the price.

I just ordered all the parts to put together a 6mm BRA rifle. Started looking at reloading components and I can get my hands on everything except bullets. Looks like 105gr Hornady BTHP and 95gr Bergers are available. Anyone have any recommendations to use instead of 105gr Hybrid targets?

I started shooting 105 match burners, i can't say I have anything bad to say about them. They ran great to 800yd last weekend at a match. 🤷

I shoot 140 ELDM and they are popping up at a few places now. My friend shoots Berger 105s and they are becoming more available also. Seems like there was a big dump of Bergers last week. Seems like powder is the last of components to become readily available. I saw Reloder 16 go for over 100 a pound last week.

:love: If you look hard enough and for long enough you could find some maybe not exactly what you wanted but if your flexible you could find something that works good luck and keep looking .

I have some components and a few still hard to find.

I have a wife that complains I stay up all nite. Lol

Every morning she cheks the credit card, and I get the stink eye when a fed x truck shows up.

Beats standing in a line for bread and vodka.
