If you are making a post to Sell Something, and you are working to circumvent the New PX Rules you are gone.

I too read the suggestions on FB to edit old posts, to play games in order to post items without being a supporter

if this is your goal, to get over on me, you're gone. It's that simple, don't come back.

You are selling something, add $20 to the cost if you can't afford it.

I have been looking for the answer to this question and I have yet to find it. That said, probably not well enough because I’m sure it has been asked and answered:

Is it against current policies to make a price-check style post detailing items which would likely be listed for sale AT A LATER DATE/TIME and asking for ’Hide assistance in pricing those items?

While I’m confident it does not change the rule on this at all, I’d like to say for the record that such a price-check post would explicitly state that “no attempts to buy any items will be responded to unless and until I make an official WTS post.“

This site has been a great resource to me throughout the years and I do not want to make a price-check post without clarifying whether it is permissible. Thanks.

Yes, if you are playing games, doing price checks, we are over it

Go to Facebook and price check there ...
Understood; I am in no way trying to play games, so I am glad I clarified. I haven’t sold anything or been active for a little while, so I am a bit out of touch with prices. I suspect the smart move would just be to pay for “Supporter” status and then ask for pricing advice. Anyway, thanks for the clarification.

I’m in the same boat…….built a house and didn’t have time or money to mess in the classifieds in probably a year or so and I come across new rules which are understandable. Everything else is pay to play. Glad I searched things out before I did post or did anything wtb related.
