Funny you should say that, I was fishing it with my 2wt. Sage!
I have a couple 2wt rods; one is an Orvis 6' Superfine (carbon) full flex with Hardy (of England) reel; the other is a 7' 3" TFO Finesse with a BVK-0. Sage are nice. I've been wanting a Winston 2wt; apparently the one I had my eye on several years ago isn't made any longer...neither are the Orvis or TFO. It's a shame when the good stuff disappears.

The Sage TXL series runs 00 thru 4 Wt. They focused on what makes light rods work well and they hit it out of the park! Mine is a 6'6" custom spun up by a good friend. I think the current series that replaced the TXL is the Dart series and they look to be about the same animal.

I've got a slew of heaver rods from St Croix, Orvis, Reddington etc. but my go to 8 wt. is a Cabelas branded Ltech. It's just a damn nice fishing rod and for the price I don't think it can be beat. I think the differences show more in the lighter weight rods.. those are the ones I start looking at Sage, Winston and so forth.

I have a Bass Pro (White River) 3wt, that is absolutely amazing...was my "go to" before I dropped down to the 2wt. I have some heavy rods too, 6wt and 9wt, those have their place also, but I rarely take them out.
