Join contest SubscribeCollected a number of Winston rods over the years from 2wt to 5wt as well as Scott and Sage. IMHO Winston makes some of the best dry fly rods out there and my favorite Winston is a IM6 7.5' 3wt. Have a 7' 2wt which a greats small stream rod for Cutts in high mountain streams. If you can find an IM6 for sale I wouldn't hesitate buying it,I have a couple 2wt rods; one is an Orvis 6' Superfine (carbon) full flex with Hardy (of England) reel; the other is a 7' 3" TFO Finesse with a BVK-0. Sage are nice. I've been wanting a Winston 2wt; apparently the one I had my eye on several years ago isn't made any longer...neither are the Orvis or TFO. It's a shame when the good stuff disappears.
Damn, you were a bit hungry weren’t you fella?
The 8 wt. is kinda necessary when you're into Brownies like thisI have a Bass Pro (White River) 3wt, that is absolutely amazing...was my "go to" before I dropped down to the 2wt. I have some heavy rods too, 6wt and 9wt, those have their place also, but I rarely take them out.
Where's the jeep & the 45/70 ?Just finished helping my son build one of his last school projects of the year before he starts high school next year.

Wrong dinosaur for that scene lolWhere's the jeep & the 45/70 ?
You men have it all over me. I grab the lightest fly rod, the line they recommend, tie a five or six foot bit of 4lb test at the end, throw on a popping bug and catch as many bream as will hit the fly and hang on. Did take a 3lb 13 oz bass on an ultra light spinning rod with 6 pound test. It was a battleThe 8 wt. is kinda necessary when you're into Brownies like this

No camera tricks on this one,
29.5" 10 1/2 lbs.
On 5x tippet with the aforementioned L Tech 8wt.
Technically, you dont know.I'd give him a C+ on weapons volume, but an F- on round count. That's 250 rounds per weapon.
Technically, you dont know.
It just says “over 10,000”.
Could be 250k and he just plays he cards close to his vest.
Personally, I have 1 box of ammo for each of the 3 guns I own.
No need for HP or anything. Thats just dangerous!
That's ridiculous! Some of my ammo boxes...and some water.
Ammo boxes or boxes of ammo? Some of my ammo boxes...and some water.
Ammo boxes or boxes of ammo?
You do realize there is a difference, right?
Well, if you want to be technical...
Those are M548, M2A1 and M19A1 containers, not boxes. About half are filled with ammo, a couple are empty and the rest hold brass or bullets. The remaining 50-60 percent of my stash is stored in alternate locations. Dispersal, ya know.

This is really good!!!!
Sorry guys, but want to share a proud dad moment. This is my daughter Ashley, who surprised me with some photos taken at a karate tournament a couple of weeks ago (she placed first). The reason I’m so proud is not that she did well, but the road she had to take to get there. Grew up a normal kid and we took karate together where she got her black belt at 11. At 15, she was working on her 2nd degree when she had a major seizure at school and found out it was the onset of Tourette’s syndrome. Dealing with uncontrollable physical tics, she kept working at it, but then another setback with a severe case of vestibular neuritis, an infection of the inner ear, which damaged her vestibular canals, compromising her sense of balance. Time in a wheelchair, then crutches and learning to walk again. She worked her butt off (an excellent student) and kept trying martial arts but still suffered balance issues and bad vertigo with any rotation. Kept at it, desensitizing her vertigo and now at 23, ready to graduate college, competing, and doing well. She never used her disabilities as an excuse, never stopped trying. I share, not to boast or brag (well a little), but seeing these pics brought her entire journey to me in an instant and just need to share that my daughter motivates the hell out of me.
