I think I know how most of us feel about this but I have to check. Here is my take on it. First, if he was my 17-year old son he would never have been there, with or without an AR. It's a riot area and he's likely to either get hurt, get into trouble, or both. It wouldn't have mattered if he was asked to be there to clean graffiti, hand out bandaids, or sing Kum ba yah. Maybe some of you all feel different about this.

However, having said that. once he's there, with an AR or an Atomic-fucking-bomb. He has a right, no, a duty, to protect his own life from someone who is trying to take it from him. If he has as much right to be there with a fire extinguisher putting out fires as the people are there setting the fires, then his armed presence isn't a provocation. The jury had no choice but to find him not guilty.

When that prosecutor said that the mob was a crowd of heroes trying to save people from an active shooter I almost through my big-screen threw my other big-screen.

They called him a white supremacist. That kid had no more opinion or political leaning than my Border Collie. He likely does now.

A lot of lives were forever changed that night. Rittenhouse was chased down by a mob that was clearly trying to do him grievous harm and he ended up killing two people and injuring a third. His whole life is now going to revolve around this for the foreseeable future. He's going to be sued just about forever by just about everyone. He's never going to be able to leave this behind him and lead a normal life. Sooner or later a movie or two will be made about it. We'll see if he's the maniacal villain or the innocent victim.

I sent my son to the USMC the day he turned 17. At his request. They handed him a rifle and put him between all of you and our enemies.

When my son was 15, bangers shot up the sherrifs K9 vehicle parked next door and because my home was downrange and glocks don’t come with ghetto-banger side sights most of the rounds hit my home and vehicles.

He came into my room AR in hand and said “Taking fire - do we return it?”. “No son, they are driving off already and the neighborhood is behind them. Just stay in cover”. He handled himself perfectly.

That said, if my son was dead set in going into BLMadishu, after trying hard to talk him out of it, there is 0 chance he would have gone in there alone without his dad.

Hi,

He as per his own words in his most recent interview....He backs BLM........

This was the "wrong" case for the left side of the political spectrum to embrace. It was a loser from all vectors. That said, any parent that allows their armed minor with someone else's rifle to violate a government curfew and head into the center of a riot to "help" ... is doing a disservice to their family, their community, and the cause of freedom. I have empathy for those that were killed or wounded, understanding of the child's desire to participate, but neither empathy nor understanding for the parent that allowed this to happen. Whether left, right, or center ... we parents need to do a better job instilling common sense and good decision-making into our children.

Bottom line is that no matter how naïve he was to go to a BLM riot thinking he would help and keep people safe to "peacefully protest", not understanding it is composed of hard core criminals and communist fanatics*, the only thing that saved his life that night was the AR-15. If he did not have that rifle in his hands he would be dead and no one would have ever known his name. That is reality, and that is the country we live in.

*Even a wishy-washy pinko like you somehow isn't forgiving Kyle for thinking that he was attending a "mostly peaceful" "protest". Who is really to blame for his naiveté? We know who the BrownShirts of the left are. We know what their ideology is, and what they want. We know they are populated by the dregs of society and their academic allies, but clearly Kyle didn't. Why is that? Who is to blame for misrepresenting a mob of violent criminals as somehow "protesting" for "justice"?

Hope he isn't just saying he supports BLM . Thinking that will save him from them continuing to paint him as a white supremacist .
If so , Somebody needs to give him a no shitter ASAP !

I would bet you he means that black people and white people are the same and that life matters, not the Marxist statement that "Black Lives Matter" as a matter of promoting racism under the guise of "anti-racism".

I understand why all this wordplay gets confusing, but you have to look at where the communication originates to understand, because the words often mean the direct opposite of their dictionary meaning when you are dealing with the left.

You literally cannot support BLM and actually be against racism, violence, destruction of private property, or support limited government.

I have no empathy for communist insurgents who are attempting to overthrow the United States. In the old days, what they are doing would be called *treason* and dealt with by the same "authorities" who prosecuted Kyle for doing their job of protecting the community.

I have empathy for the kid who stood up and did a man's job of protecting that community. And I have empathy for the parents who instilled those values in him, and then sat and watched the show trial of their son.

I have no empathy for people who have attempted to "understand" the enemy so much that they don't know up from down, or Marxist insurrectionists from American patriots.

So you are going to wait until a movie comes out? Letting Hollywood tell you what to think?

No thank you.

My empathy is for the family and friends of those that lost their lives ... irrespective of the good or bad, left or right, just or unjust nature of the loss. I would hope that we all believe that the loss of life was tragic, irrespective of the circumstances. But I'm probably being naïve.

Well that’s so 2021.

Every single one of them was estranged from their family. Not a single family member from the deceased or Grosskreutz' came forward to defend, lament, or eulogize them, because they were all complete pieces of shit. Appearently them chasing and trying to kill a lone 17y/o kid in the midst of their communist riot doesn't move your meter...

In fact, a least one of Huber's former "girlfriends" publicly accused him of rape and said she was glad Rittenhouse killed him.

I call them heros, patriots and true Americans.

Just think if we had more of them and less of this.

Some of you dudes can't actually be serious. Since there was so much video footage of the entire Kenosha event please post the selfies of you on the curbs of Kenosha with your kit. You didn't actually leave this pivotal time in U.S. history to the shoulders of a 17 year old while you swilled PBRs?

Multiple sites claim Huber’s family has “vowed to fight the ruling”.

Can’t be against the spread of disinformation and also do it. I’m on your side but we lose credibility when we just say things as fact that aren’t, it’s the same thing cnn does. It’s like people still claiming the pedo threw a Molotov, no he threw a bag, but in the end he was still trying to commit assault and got popped.

I didn't listen to one GD thing my dad said when i was 17. Almost 50 years later and i realize how smart he was. Wished he was here to tell him
As I get older I realize my parents were just winging it and hoping for the best lol.

I told them that and they mostly agreed.

This is precisely what I said to my wife when she inquired as to why Kyle was there at all.

#1 - no, son, this isn't our fight.
#2 - cops are pussies, apparently.
#3 - I'm driving. If you insist on going, you do everything I say when I say, and never speak a word of our involvement to anyone. Leave that fucking phone at home.

Nope. The parents of the 5 kids Rosenbaum molested should have teamed up and skinned him alive long ago and saved the rest of the world some trouble. Pedophiles don't count as people, so killing them is a non event.
Exactly. humanity really disappoints me lately. And I don't mean the communists, pedophiles, and demoniacs in government, because like you said they don't count.

I mean the average person who should know better and still says dumb ass things on the internet, in support of the communists, pedophiles, and demoniacs in government.

I'm so glad I'm a grown man that studied The Bill of Rights and knew the Constitution long before KR was born so I don't have to rely on what an 18 yr. old thinks.

Honestly I think they just ignore/pretend it doesn't exist because they are so into being in that team, or some are scared to speak out because they'll be shit on by everyone they know.

Odd time to start posting here. 40 posts in 3 years.

Then dump off in a controversial thread in a way that matches the FBI playbook for inciting interracial crime...

That might be a strategic move in prelude to the defamation law suits.

I just watched an interview with Huber's father where he repeated the line the prosecutor used. He said his son was a hero trying to stop an active shooter. I guess if that's the delusion that lets him sleep better at night.

Which is why I wrote what I did after that. However, I would have done everything I could to stop him from getting into that situation. You have to agree that Rittenhouse never being there would have been preferred to getting judged not guilty.

I was raised by two 8th grade educated hillbilly's. Neither one pushed me in any particular direction. just that I was NOT going to drop-out of H.S., and there is nothing here for you. They did raised me tough, with morals, respect, and...if you work hard, you can make something of yourself.
I miss them dearly. Mac

My parents were both college-educated. My father had a Ph.D. I was in constant trouble through my early teens until my mother died of breast cancer. Ten months later my father was killed in a car accident that may not have been all that much of an accident.

I was sent to live with my closest relatives, which was my mother’s cousin, whom I’d never met. Talk about culture shock, his family was not like ours. Like the previous poster, they were uneducated red necks that never made it to high school, let alone graduated. Ervin worked in a coal mining town located in Western Pennsylvania called Ebensburg.

Long story short, I never got in trouble again and Cousin Ervin could have taught my folks a few things. I ended up following in my father’s footsteps and became an engineer, rather than down the mine, Ervin saw to that. In turn, I helped my three new brothers and sister make it out of Ebensburg. There are all kinds of education.

I don’t mean anything bad oh what I said, just realized they’re normal people trying to figure stuff out like everyone else.

It was a weird moment when I was old enough to figure that out, seemed like they always knew what was going on.

I was 42 years old when this happened.

I was standing outside the first apartment building I ever bought when a local reporter walked by on his way to the soon to be "basketball victory riot".

I wanted to head over to see what was going on, fortunately I had adult supervision and my wife told me I was not allowed to go..... ;)

......as usual she was right and I am an imbecile in a man's body.

While we were still outside some time later the reporter came back past my building covered in welts from the "less lethal rounds" that were fired randomly at any target of opportunity, as it turns out.

As I was admiring his purple bruises I was glad I married well.

We then went up on the roof of the two story building to get a better view, with the helicopters and the flash-bangs and whatnot it looked a lot like Baghdad.

They burned some businesses and a guy's mobile food motor-home as well as a few cars IIRC.

Because the U of A LOST the NCAA playoffs.......

In preparing for possible disturbances, police stockpiled less-lethal munitions by borrowing hundreds of rounds from other law enforcement agencies.

More than 450 rounds were fired during the riot, and at least a dozen people sought treatment for injuries at local hospitals. The most seriously injured was a 19-year-old University of Arizona student hit in the face with a beanbag fired from a police shotgun: His eye was so damaged it had to be removed.

In similar riots this year at Purdue University and the University of Maryland after NCAA Tournament losses, police had but chose not to use less-lethal weapons.

At Purdue University, police used tear gas, which Tucson police used to break up disturbances when UA won the national basketball championship in 1997.

----------------------------------------------------

In 1997 the U of A won the NCAA playoffs.......

...we went to the riot in this video, I guess we left before the real rioting got rolling, it seemed like a good time where everyone was walking around high-fiving each other.

Black Long-guns Matter?

🤭🤫🤔🤐🤨😐😑😶😏😒

Supports blm. Well, he's as dumb as his mother. Nut doesn't fall far from the tree.

I kid who states he supports BLM....right before suing the entirety of the United States Media Industry...is just press-checking his lawsuit blaster to make sure its loaded.
EXACTLY!

In listening to this kid he seems to have have a astute spacial awareness when it come to our current political climate and his position within that sphere.

I worried he might come out of this case as another blundering idiot like Zimmerman. I see little chance of that now. I would not be surprised to see this kid get a decent education and perhaps end up in Congress.

Going on a TV program, no matter WHO'S TV program and saying ANYTHING, can lead to further problems. He'd already had a jury decide he isn't racist, he didn't need to start talking on TV programs. The press is not your friend.
He should stay home, keep his mouth shut, and say nothing, until this passes.
The Left will be rioting about something else in a very short time, in order to cover up whatever the Left is cooking up for us next. Maxwell's trial, The handover of the Presidency, the quiet furtherance of the Coup, the further Enslavement of America, the Usurpation of the Constitution, The taking of Taiwan, the start of WW3, the Uprising of the "Immigrants" etc, whatever.

I got banned for an hour on Kik Live because I talked about being glad with the verdict. I'm so fucking sick of Left-wing bullshit!

He did appear AFTER the trial on CNN with an urn of Huber ashes. I did not see that when I posted. This is a full year later, and I would not put it past his family to be doing this for money.
