I understand what you're saying but I'm not sure its that simple. We know about Aaron Rodgers being unvax'd and other players with fake cards. I wonder how many more got medical exemptions or used fake cards successfully? This might be one of the few cases where it goes both ways. These blockbuster names aren't easily replaced and neither is the merch revenue and winning records that draw crowds. I wouldn't be surprised if the actual vax status in the NFL is closer to 40%

I don't believe that this article contains the correct interpretation of the regulations. According to the email I received from the ATF, it is simply reminding licensees of the existing regulations:
What qualifies as a secure gun storage or safety device? | Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives
1. A device that, when installed on a firearm, is designed to prevent the firearm from being operated without first deactivating the device; 2. A device incorporated into the design of the firearm that is designed to prevent the operation of the firearm by anyone not having access to the device...
I'm not defending the regulation, but it's nothing close to "gun dealers need to sell safes".
If anyone wants to help his local dealer, offer to donate your collection of gun locks. He can toss them in a box with the hundreds that he already has, and really make a positive impression during the next compliance check.
Furthermore, not one single person is asking questions on how an unvaccinated player (Rogers, Cousins, Wentz, All QBs) can test positive on the Monday after their game and then somehow make a miraculous recovery and be asymptomatic and have no virus in their system 6 days later.
