Having an 18' PR carbon barrel being chambered and mated to a Defiance AntiX by Alamo Precision. Bolt is DLC, action and chrome parts on barrel will be cerakoted. And I'm waiting on an XLR 4.0 magnesium folder in multi cam. Gonna b a long 5 month wait. Got the trigger tech diamond and tall ckye pod for it.

My 16 is a hammer out to 500. Things get squirrely around 600, gotta be spot on with your wind calls. Really need a spotter for that.

Also got to wear out some steel with a few 175 gold medal. In 20 mph gusty wind. Lol. Like above, 3-400 is cake. Past that is….yeah.

16.5” PVA 6.5cm tube. I have 500 123 SMKs to see how fast I can’t get them, but after shooting the 140 ELD load from my 24” barrel I don’t know that I even want to mess with those. Laser beams. How fast have you guys been able to get the 140s with H4350 in your shorties?

Love it...only small thing I'd change is go T4AF and fold...some don't want the added weight ans don't see the need to fold

Ok here's my newest build (if semi's aren't welcome here let me know, but it is a unique build that's very short for 6.5CM)
I'll start out by saying this is a purpose built rifle for two main reasons
1. Night coyote hunting delivering heavier payload than my SPR inspired build does (WOA 1:7 18 inch SPR barrel shooting IMI 77 grain Razorcore until I can get back to reloading and get some 77gr TMK's moving and grouping well)
2. More compact rifle to harvest whitetail deer here in KY (my bolt rig currently has a 26 In 6.5CM barrel and a 9 inch form1 titanium can)
3. Added bonus of being a pretty handy rifle that may be my new "grab when needed" over my 10.5 .300 BO slinging 220gr subs or 18 inch SPR style .223 Wylde due to the increase in energy when serving everyone first.....then coming back around to ensure anyone who needs seconds get them
4. IF 8.6 CM ever comes into fruition I will have a nice lower ready if I don't have a dedicated 2nd AR10 lower by then

I purchased parts from Nov 2020 to Jan 2021 and saying parts were thin is an understatement. There were literally ZERO Aero R-One or S-One handhuards to be had anywhere.
Here's the run down of the build. I guess I can do as the dude @TheGerman calls Flannel Daddy and go "tip to butt"
Suppressor is a Form1 6 inch can 100% titanium using SD Tactical rear cap that stays on all the time. The exterior of the brakes all have the same thread so can easily bounces between 1/2-28 and 5/8-24 muzzles.
Muzzle brake is a titanium SD Tactical 3 port brake with threads on outside of brake for my Form1 cans.
Barrel = Wilson Combat Recon 16 inch 6.5CM 1:8 twist (backordered Nov 2020 and received July2021)

Gas tube = Wilson Combat 13.25 tube made specifically for the 16 inch Recon Barrel

Not very light but definitely a goodie…
With the CkyePod, right at about 10.5 with 4 rounds. I now have an Atlas on it and it is closer to 9-9.5lbs. I purpose built this for a mtn goat hunt, but have since taken a couple of elk with it as well. With the lighter grain bullets and a relatively mild powder charge, I find the 124 Hammers to be really good medicine out to about 600. Recoil is very manageable and it's just great gun to tote around and shoot.

I’m still doing load development, but getting around 2700 with 42.8gr of H4350. 2730 with 43.1gr of H4350. Likely going with 43.1gr as it was consistent single digit SD and obviously a little faster with only mild pressure signs. Now onto seating depth test.
