I haven't weighed it after I finished spraying the clear on it. I will have to break it apart and weigh it one day, I had a Vee Block put in by ray so I am sure you could save a few ounces without that. I know the whole rig weighs 17lb's 13oz's or so.

I used to get a bunch of free LC LR brass through a job and used it to shoot matches the first year I started shooting F/TR. It took some work to get ready and you do lose some capacity. I shoot blue box now but nothing wrong with the LC brass if you dont mind putting in the work.
I had the same problem with my savage F/TR and sinclair Gen 3. I solved it with removing the felt and using the sinclair delux bipod adapter. I also added some washers under the wing nuts since you are removing material from removing the felt. It is very solid now. Aaron

The highest safe velocity you can obtain with your barrel length and shoot accurately. Velocity is your friend, but a higher bc bullet would help you more.
