Re: Remington model 700 SS 5r milspec I've had my 5R for several years now with a little over 3000 rounds down the tube. I have it in an A-5, Mk 4 and bedded myself (with the help of an old benchrest friend). Great rifle, solid 1/2 to 5/8 gun. KJ- 31 chaser

MOTIVATION
Re: MOTIVATION I have a four and two year old that motivate me to work out. If I don't win, I don't go home. I work for a small PD, but we still have our share of bad asses on the street. The more you sweat training the less you will bleed on the street. Sounds corny but it's true. KJ- 31 chaser

Re: shooting at manatee gun range, Florida Gene is a good guy, he's helped me out on plenty of occasions. Especially the first time I shot at 1000. If it wasn't for him I think my rounds would have been landing somewhere in Tampa. Glad to hear he's doing better. KJ- 31 chaser

Action differences?
I'm thinking about building a true custom .308 on a custom action. My question is what is the difference between the actions based on the 700 design other than the price.
