I have a very accurate custom built Rem700 .338LM & I have recently upgraded to an IOR 3.5-18 FFP MP8 reticle optic. It seems to jump around a bit- has anyone had similar issues? A friend of mine that was a medic at the 2013 SAC told me that IOR's have had issues in all their competitions...

I second Nathan at SSG - Straight Shot Gunsmithing - he just fixed and issue on my bolt on my rem 700 .338LM. He does impeccable work and his prices are more than fair.

I picked up the PACT Dispenser/Scale Combo from Midway USA earlier this year- the scale jumps back & forth a plus or minus of 6.8 grains at random. I sent it back to Midway USA & they sent me a replacement. The replacement does the same thing as well. After reading other issues on the interweb...

I currently have a .338 Lapua with a 27" Shilen Select Match Grade barrel and 1/10 Twist. The chamber needs to be re-cut, and I am also looking at shortening the barrel significantly to help with stiffness & timing. Does anyone know if I can trim this down to a 20" barrel & still get away with...

I got this Rem 700 DBM from a guy that acquired a "parts box" - I need help identifying the make/manufacturer of it. - Also it is a charcoal grey color, not black and seems to be a rough-powder-coated finish. I thought is was a PTG DBM, but the mag release button/lever does not look like theirs...

Re: inletting problem did you purchase the stock new or used? have you tried calling bell & carlson? - they are usually very helpful with these types of situations.
