    Which 6.5??

    Go with the .260 you will get slightly more case capacity and not to mention better brass. Currently .260 is made by Lapua, Norma, Nosler, and Remington. Just being able to use Lapua brass is what won me over. But all in all there isn't much difference, just go with your gut ! Goodluck !

    I guess to me it is more the looks of the rifle from that perspective. I would never expect significant advantage in heat reduction. My only worry is strength or the barrel after.
