    Accuracy gains with XLR Chassis

I think that is the answer I was looking for. If bedding an action is the same as putting it in a chassis, then I think that fits my bill. I either will be needing to get a new stock and bedding it there, or getting a chassis.

    Accuracy gains with XLR Chassis

Evening all, I have a Remington 700 in .308. As it sits it shoots right around 1 moa in its factory stock. I consider myself lucky that without modification it has decent accuracy. My question revolves around the accuracy gains that I could expect from putting my rifle in an xlr chassis. I...

    Why choose a folding stock?

Re: Why choose a folding stock? Cleaning. Never even thought about that. Brilliant design then. How pissed were the 1.5 customers who purchased the stock only to find they had to remove their cheek rest each go around of cleaning? Thanks for the help. - Brandon

    Why choose a folding stock?

What are the opinions on folding stocks and reasons for liking them? I just can't seem to think of a situation where I would require one. Transportation certainly could potentially be easier, but that's about the only time I could see it being beneficial. There have to be a huge number of...

    Lost My GoPro

Re: Lost My GoPro Beefy is right. They've done great for a long time now. Using them like I do was sure to cause heartache one day. However all the film i have and the memories I've been able to capture far outweigh the price of a replacement camera. Comes with the territory I guess...

    Lost My GoPro

Re: Lost My GoPro I should preface this a little. My mount location I chose was a bit risky. It is low on the front and provides kind of a ground running view which looks amazing. I have done it several times and never had any issues, even having smashed into vertical dune faces. I am...

    Lost My GoPro

Re: Lost My GoPro No rollover. I only made it about 1/2 mile into the dunes before it was gone. Had a paracord tether tied to it but it slipped off the knob. It must have dug into the ground a bit but there was no "impact" or nasty collision or anything. Still quite unsure as to how...

    Lost My GoPro

I lost my brand new gopro hero 2 over the weekend at sand mountain in utah. Had it attached to the front of the rzr and at some point the mount sheared off and gone be the camera. Anybody else have similar experiences with losing their babies? - Brandon

    Air dry Cerakote?

Re: Air dry Cerakote? Compared to Duracoat it's a different beast all together. Duracoat seems to be much more forgiving. Cerakote doesn't flash the same as Duracoat. It also is more apt to running and getting screwed up when I'm using them. It is nice to not have to wait so long for a sturdy...
