6mm Creedmoor H4350 Large Rifle Magnum Primers load data

Magnum primers may give you a pressure spike early into ignition. I used small magnum primers in a 6.5 C and made it work but the standard large rifle are much easier to tune a load.

    .300wm - .300wsm

I believe Nosler brass is made by Norma. I could be wrong. Norma brass has been fantastic for me. I only have a hunting load right now with a 180gn interlock,Norma brass,Winchester LRM primers and 82.5gn of H1000. On my 6th or 7th firing. AL

    Any .308 Elk/Deer rifle recommendations?

I have two Ruger Americans in the Go Wild models. One 6.5creedmoor and a 6.5 PRC. If you swap the trigger springs these rifles both will shoot way above the pay grade. Sub MOA most of the time .5MOA regularly. The go wilds have cerakote, box mags, threaded barrels and not heavy at all.

    300 PRC Hunter

Looks nice what does it weigh in at? I am shopping for a 300PRC right now and if I see one I like it ends up to heavy. Would like to keep the weight down to about 9 to 10 pounds scoped. What stock is that? How fat is the grip! I have held a few with that style and most would only be good from a...

    Building my first Bolt

Wanting specific things out of a cartridge has nothing to do with hunting or shooting. I have tens of thousands of rounds under my finger. I shoot enough deer to get my fill of venison. I have rifles to do anything I need or want done. If I didn't have my 6.5 Creedmoor I would probably have a...

    Building my first Bolt

So 3000fps with a 147grn is not feasible in the 6.5 PRC? I have a 6.5 peedmoor and get about 2700ish out of that. Can you do much better handshaking the PRC than factory?

    Building my first Bolt

Moose are not that tough. Yes they absorb a lot but they just don't know they are dead. Hit them in the right spot and it's a done deal. I know folks that have used 30/30, 243 win. A 147 grn at 3000fps will do the job. I'll get close and I don't care if it's a trophy. 40 inch plus is good...

    Building my first Bolt

I am in the planing stage stage right now. I know what job I want the rifle to do. I am looking for ballistic information as well as action recommendations. Unfortunately my pockets are a bit shallow right now but I can pick away at it this winter. I plan on a light-ish type rifle. Used for...

    6.5 Creedmoor

I use FC small primer brass. I have had better luck with it over Hornady. I am on about 6 firings and primer pockets are. Good. Hornady primer pockets stretched way to early on lighter loads.

    Ruger American Hunter

I bought the 6.5 hunter. While it was a better shooter than I am it was too heavy for my uses. 1/2 inch groups with 142 sierra MK and 3/4 with the 143 ELDM when I was having good day. Sold it and got a Go Wild 6.5. Love both rifles Ruger got it right with the American line of rifles.
