    Re: How do you know its a 5R? Rifle does not say 11.25 twist on it(I just bought one). Best way to tell is to count the lands and groves, or call Remington with the gun's serial number. Scott

    I have a Remington 700 with a Leupold Mark III 40mm scope. I ordered Low(.730) rings but they were way too low. The rings in the picture are 1.185high, but too high. Do I try Mediums(.85) or High(1.) Anyone using the same rings on a Remington 700? Scott
