    thanks, yes I was thinking of using this action for a .260 build but it makes sense to try and trade it for an action that will already work, and save the cash for other modifications.

    I just picked up a cheap .223 for a donor action, I have heard I can send it to someone to ream it out and put a bigger sized bolt face and put a sako extractor on it. Is this correct? and if so any suggestions on smiths you have had do bolt work for you?

    Re: Muzzel break suggestions +1 on the lit bastard I have shot one on a 6.5x47 and it worked great. Like any brake they can throw a little dirt, but very effective on recoil.
